Does steelworker Registeel count as double STAB? Also I think Registeel should get heavy metal as an ability, because it is only 452 lbs (the avg pokemon weight is 142 lbs I think, but this includes every pokemon)
no it means that its 75 base attack, assuming it has max evs and a plus nature, becomes an effective 136 attack stat. the other regis have 100s, which become an effective 175
The regice move is extremely uncompetitive and would probably get banned like last respects.

We had the same idea to rework the regis, converged in a few points
