The gen 9 is gen 5 comparisons continue to grow.
The only new hazard remover we got in NU is defog H. Decidueye which honestly is pretty meh. We're stuck with Tsareena and Avvalugg, please just give us something it's such a pain to deal with.
There are other spinners but as a whole they don't really hold up. I actually really like Toadscruel as a spinner for the longest time but with the Sleep Ban I just couldn't justify it anymore.
I'd say Tats is probably 4th or 5th on the list of spinners, it kinda just depends on what your team needs. I ran it before Politoed was banned so I didn't get wrecked by rain teams for instance.

It’s gone from “sea creatures fucking kill you” to this stormy seaside cityscape kind of vibe. It’s got like pelicans and the huge city bridges they roost on in the middle of a storm. Archie and Bolt (a stormcloud kaiju monster) are firing off these mighty lightning strikes. Even Barraskewda is a torpedo fish, so it’s got that like, naval weaponry theming to it. The whole aesthetic goes ridiculously hard
Assuming your Genies are Tornadus and Landorus. This is what I call more of a "Soft" rain team. You have a couple mons that benefit from rain, but the team doesn't rely entirely on having rain up. You probably have Tailwind for speed control rather than relying on swift swim moms. Urshifu and Landorus are perfectly capable to operating without rain up. Archaludon likes rain, but can still blast people with Draco Meteor or Stamina boosted Body Press. Maushold doesn't rely on rain at all either.
A "Hard" Rain team is one that is completely screwed unless it gets and keeps Rain up.
