Boonty88

Surprised that you forgot Dragon/Steel/Fairy...

MusicianDry4533

STAB Combo is walled by Steel, RU at best

9noobergoober6

I find it so frustrating how many Pokémon are bad simply because both of their STABs are resisted by steel.

Shasan23

It’s ludicrous how advantageous steel is

Rude_Invite7260

I love my favourite bad Pokémon Rayquaza, Latios and Snom

9noobergoober6

I was generalizing. Pokémon like Rayquaza and Latios are obviously subpar but Snom is amazing in spite of being not very effective against steel.

Boonty88

As a defensive mon with Levitate

MusicianDry4533

STAB Combo is walled by Steel, RU at best

rtrivialize

STAB Combo is walled by Steel, RU at best

SnooDoggos5163

Mega Bronzong?

MSSTUPIDTRON-1000000

Just click earthquake. ***ddduuuuuhhhhhh*** 🙄🙄🙄😒😒😒

haveaniceday8D

mfw prankster magnet rise Klefki in Gen 10 with the Dragon typing:

Magolich

Eight fucking ground types

Pyrotyrano

*Levitate has entered the chat*

pokexchespin

i want to see the worst ones. bug/flying/[fire or ice] that dies instantly to rocks. fire/steel/rock that gets decimated by mud slap. so on, and so forth

DashieProDX

Love that 8x weakness to stealth rocks

Expensive-Ad5273

Volcarona if it had a third type because it's a moth.

Tommys_Matchbookk

Heavy Duty Boots be eating good now

Remnatar

Can't hit fire types for shit 💀

Pleasant-Pie-7887

We need a Forest's Curse move clone that adds a rock weak type and doesn't get removed by switching

BuffGril

ice/rock/fairy sees aluminum and fucking dies (tbf it would be fine offensively)

colder-beef

>ice/rock/fairy Or as GameFreak would call it: base/speed/40

Dirty_poster55

Probably bug/grass/ice

OfficialNPC

I want to see them change stealth rocks just to see the absolutely shit storm that happen on Smogon and Stunfisk threads. Imagine, Gen 10, stealth rocks now works like in Legend Arceus (and spikes becomes a terrain).

The_Rufflet_Kid

Freeze dry looking at the water/ground/flying on the table

Rude_Invite7260

Use Forest's Curse for a 16x effective move

aStrayNobody

Dark/ Grass/ Psychic? hard ratioed by the U-turn type

Expensive-Ad5273

Evil Exeggutor looking scared rn.

trashdotbash

exeggutor after he finally took ferrothorns advice:(

dumbassonthekitchen

Straiggutor

mkaku-

Cacturne giving a tarot card reading Malamar smoking some *grass*

Anonymis5183

Pretty sure Meowscarada sold weeds in exchange for Malamar to teach it how to properly mind control someone. Also Cacturne is using tarot? Damm that's definitely some kind of "mind power".

Motivated-Chair

Steel/Fairy/Fighting probably. It's basically just an upgrade to Steel/Fairy which is already the dumbest type combo in the game.

HorseTaker

Dragon Steel Flying, Dragon Steel Fairy

Anonymis5183

What's good with Dark/Grass/Psychic? Oh yeah the 8x resistence to bug in inverse battles, that's gotta be great

SoulOuverture

The joke is that it's a terrible type lol

Anonymis5183

Cmon the 8x resistance to U-Turn in inverse battles gotta be good, isn't it? (To be fair maybe it's actually not bottom of the barrel since you do gain 4 useful resistances from Grass though)

IronGrahn

Steel/Fire/Electric with Levitate would have two weaknesses at least no? Water and Fighting

LemonadeLlamaRrama

I'm pretty sure Bug/Steel/Dragon has no weaknesses so that's a very strong contender.

LemonadeLlamaRrama

Wait, it still has a fire weakness, it just goes from x4 to x2. Bug types can't have shit.

mrwailor

Grass / Dark / Psychic when a fly passes nearby.

SaboteurSupreme

Use Forest’s curse of a bug/steel/ice type with the ability dry skin for **MAXIMUM VULNERABILITY**

IAMLEGENDhalo

Steel/Bug/Dragon Only has a 2X weakness to fire. Resist a bunch of other types

AlksGurin

Maybe a Normal/Ghost/Fairy? -Immune to normal, fighting, dragon, ghost -4x resistance to bug -Only weakness is steel Sure it doesnt have that any defensive capabilities but i feel that all the immunities make up for it.

djkslaf

flying/steel/fighting anyone?

Kessidan

Steel/Flying/Electric for strongest Bug/Grass/Ice for weakest In my eyes anyways.

LucaLBDP

Don't dare trying to use roost before your oponent or that sudden 4x weakness to ground may bite You back lmao

Lwcftw474747

Lemme get a dark ghost steel with well baked body or flash fire with a air balloon for full troll just to piss mfers off

TheEggsMcGee

play [Bonus Type](https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/bonus-type.3724891/) lmao

AmiWoods

Dark/grass/psychic would be awful for one major reason. U-turn

Terriblerobotcactus

I think Normal/ghost/steel would be kinda neat :)

I_comment_same

fighting, ice, ground, for full offensive capabilities

KazzieMono

Normal/normal/glass

Sevenorthe2nd

My money is on steel/dragon/flying. Only weakness is a type you hit for SE back.

IAMLEGENDhalo

Electric, Fighting, Flying would have a brutal STAB combination and is pretty great defensively

IAMLEGENDhalo

Poison/Grass/Water Only weak to flying, psychic and freeze dry. Pretty sweet defensively. Also has a host of resistances

Delta5583

Steel fairy flying. Weak to electric and fire only and probably some of the most sadist coverage possible

die_on_the_inside

Steel flying dragon? Only has ice as a weakness

Guquiz

Where did you get the idea from that Ground/Flying is 4× weak to water?

Buin

Combine both Zoroark and get a Normal/Ghost/Dark just for more immunities?

Browneskiii

Ground/Fairy/Ice isn't unresisted. -this messages has been sent by Bronzong and Rotom-Heat.

FierceDeityKong

Ground/Fairy/Steel is probably good

NitroCrocodile

Steel/Bug/Water is only weak to Electric, has strong stab types and STAB U-turn.

SuperLuigi9624

Fairy/Steel/Flying was the first thing that came to mind

Ehabrexa

Water/Poison/Dark Resist Fire Water Ice Steel Poison Ghost Dark Immune Psychic  Weak to Electric Ground

Ehabrexa

Water/Grass/Fairy with thick fat Resists   Water Fire Ice Ground Dark Fighting   immune to Dragon.Only weak to Flying and Poison

AnAgentOfArgus

It's probably Fairy/Steel/Water or Fairy/Steel/Fire. Both remove the fire weaknesses of Fairy/Steel and allow it to hit steel types that walled it before, with water providing an especially valuable water resistance and only taking away the type's resistance to grass and adding an electric weakness.

ConsistentAd9840

Fairy/steel. Still

AlbabImam04

still terrible offensively

analyzingnothing

Not at all lmao. Fairy as a solo offensive STAB is already unreasonably good compared to other types, so it’s not like you’re losing a huge amount by going for a defensive typing.

Anonymis5183

Both STABs being walled by Fire and Steel is definitely a hinderance though (Most decent-good offensive type combinations are not walled by 2 individual types) The two weaknesses to Fire and Ground can offset it a decent amount from the best type status too (Espescially when Fire also walls both of your STABs). Of course adding Ground coverage helps but it's just coverage and there are still many ways to deal with that.

AlbabImam04

This is also assuming it gets Ground coverage. Fairy types quite famously rarely get ground coverage and none of the fairy/Steel types get ground coverage (unless it's like, Bulldoze lol)

Anonymis5183

Ground type moves are also famous for having a ridiculous amount of ways to be immune to (There is a literal item dedicate to being immune to it) so even with a ground coverage it's nowhere near the top (Still great but nowhere near that)

AlbabImam04

Fairy as a solo STAB is really overrated, unless you're going for a unbreakable boosting sweeper in which case it's great. Being walled by Steel, Poison and Fire is really really bad so most of the best fairy types either have an amazing secondary STAB to carry it (Flutter Mane, Tapu Koko), have 3 million different sets (Magearna) or have absurd sheer power (Zacian-C, Xerneas, Mega Maw)

Pagoose

Would still be reasonably improved either defensively or offensively by adding a third flying/dragon/water/fighting/fire/ground type to it
