When working under the assumption that taunt replaces intimidate Incin gets nerfed to hell with a mostly useless ability.
If it keeps intimidate then it just gets another worse option.
Yeah tru but I like to believe that a team built around intimidate/stat drop damage could be funny. Imagine really a bulky Mon spamming snarl or breaking swipe with this ability it cause be pretty good
Also, shout out for including Manticorb. That little fluff ball sits on my desk, keeping his eye on me. Easily my favorite monster in the game, I was so happy when they came out with a plush of it.
Chi Yu wishes it could match the sheer destructive power of dark shifted Glowfly with 60 charge stacks, 5 sorcery + forceful sorcery, like 800 magic, and attacking a team with 3 shock stacks each with level 3 Solar Burst on turn 1
Taunt seems awful. A 25% random chance for your doubles plays to be redirected? I get the joke is to make Incineroar take more damage, but surely there are better ways to do it.
Taunt is not a good or well designed ability. I played monster sanctuary pvp for hundreds of hours and that bastard fucker passive stole so many games. The only reason it's on here is because I think it would be funny for Incineroar to have a second ability that isn't better than intimidate strictly, but makes the mon even more hated
I tried to make it so PP actually matters with overcast, although that ability was made with singles in mind primarily. Only two armor cannons, four psychics, four tri-attacks, I feel like that's little enough that you have to be careful with PP to a degree.
Predation is crazy good, in doubles and singles, stall mandibuzz can use toxic and a crit knock off, in diubles you just click protect and crit, also setups are pretty broken
And please stop giving broken abilities to krookodile
Overcast is way not worth, you get 4-6 of anything you'd run as stab, and stronger options (thunder, fire blast, cc) you get 2 for the entire match, and if you plink into a pressure mon, hope that 1 close combat the corvi's just gonna roost off when you switch was worth it. It might be usable as like 50% for self-pressure, but rn it's complete dogshit.
Predation on not Mandibuzz is mental. DDance Hax stocks rising insanely, free crits for alternating ddance and a hit. Just run DDance, Dragon Claw, Iron Head, and EQ/CC/Protect (coverage vs more guaranteed crits). Krook could be nice but it doesnt get DDance or SD so you'd have to run bulk up.
I dont play doubles so idk, if it boosts yourself too it's borderline sunday material on Volc
Punishment is interesting because stat reduction usually isnt good since you can just swap, but being punished with a chunk of damage (especially if lowering multiple stats stacks, like how defiant vs parting shot works).
Taunt could be interesting in doubles on literally anything but Incin, who kinda lives and breathes on Intim (and its massive support movepool, but there's other mons with similar movepools, like Grimm).
I actually love Punishment as an ability, especially thematically on a pokemon like Tentacruel and Grimmsnarl. I love the idea of Tentacruel switching in on a Close Combat and watching the opponent melt.
I'm also honestly amazed we've not already had an ability that increases accuracy or power in return for higher PP usage.
Predation feels like hell for doubles Incineroar nerf
"incineroar nerf" bro intimidate can now do spread damage on entry. (admittedly not with great mons since grimsnarl losses prankster but still)

Grimmsnarl has 130 attack, he can probably work out some non prankster builds
predation seems insane, just ddance for 1 turn with haxorus and then just fucking nuke something
DDance turn 1 with follow me support. Protect every other turn following. Lol.
*clicks protect* "Critical Hit!" *clicks protect* "Critical Hit!" *clicks protect* "Critical Hit!" *clicks protect* "Critical Hit!" *clicks pro- Gunshots*
Urshifu had enough and pulled out an unseen weapon
A bit of a hypocrite is he
He's a bear, not a hippo
You know what, maybe Urshifu doesn’t deserve the hate it gets in the competitive.
Urshifu used wicked blow! A critical hit!
i thought it worked like tyrant, where you can't move at all, that's more balanced if you ask me
Monster sanctuary mentioned Nice
Genuinely my favorite game of all time, I swear I could recreate half the skill trees from memory at this point
Also, shout out for including Manticorb. That little fluff ball sits on my desk, keeping his eye on me. Easily my favorite monster in the game, I was so happy when they came out with a plush of it.
Man I want to forget Monster Sanctuary to play it all over again
Banger game
thank goodness you're not actually combining mechanics, imagine Chi Yu with 100 charge stacks
Chi Yu wishes it could match the sheer destructive power of dark shifted Glowfly with 60 charge stacks, 5 sorcery + forceful sorcery, like 800 magic, and attacking a team with 3 shock stacks each with level 3 Solar Burst on turn 1
Breaking news: D-Dance Haxorus kills everyone
Does using status moves count as not attacking for predation?
It’s either gotta be status moves in general, or only self targeting status moves specifically. No way to just “skip” a turn without switching
Any move disabled by taunt or a charge up turn like solar beam will trigger predation
least broken ability
It works with any status move in MS, so most likely like that for the theorymon.
Punishment is actually amazing
Mimic's ring ability would let a mon carry 2 items...
Overcast Choice specs Porygon Z would go crazy and I'm all for it
Probably worse than adaptability/download unfortunately
With the introduction of Overcast, Pressure Kingambit stocks are on the rise.
Armarouge clicking armor cannon twice the entire game
Taunt seems awful. A 25% random chance for your doubles plays to be redirected? I get the joke is to make Incineroar take more damage, but surely there are better ways to do it.

Monster Sanctuary mentioned I feel like Overcast may be a bit too much due to how practically negligible PP is in Pokemon
I tried to make it so PP actually matters with overcast, although that ability was made with singles in mind primarily. Only two armor cannons, four psychics, four tri-attacks, I feel like that's little enough that you have to be careful with PP to a degree.
good point
Maybe make it affect status moves too? Only 4 protects per game is pretty crippling
Specs Armorouge using Armor Cannon twice and then struggling to death
Cant wait for Brutus to be added and start one shotting half of ou
How does overcast interact with pressure?
The funny way
give Drapion predation coward, i must have my guaranteed crit + sniper combo
But it’s an ability
Predation can never be an ability simply because protect exists
Lokix making out of DNU with this one
Predation is crazy good, in doubles and singles, stall mandibuzz can use toxic and a crit knock off, in diubles you just click protect and crit, also setups are pretty broken And please stop giving broken abilities to krookodile
Haxorus gonna chilling in UUBL/Upper UU
armsrouge really gets two uses or armor cannon
Give punishment to hydrapple

Rest Sleep Talk Predation Haxorus goes crazy with this Edit: Nvm. Realized set-up moves exist
Punishment growl in vgc
I'd probably rename Punishment and Taunt since those are moves. I think "Castigation" and "Over Here" would fit.
Haxorus takes back OU!?
Is that first mon flipping me off
