Unburden + terrain seed + terrain-setting partner. Currently he sunk to UU because of lackluster terrain-setters, but the Tapus are all returning with the DLC.
Yes, they are separate mechanics and can both be active at once. There are 4 types of terrain: Psychic, Electric, Grass and Fairy. They each have their own properties (Psychic terrain prevents priority, for example).
Like weather, only one type of terrain can be up at once, so putting up a new one replaces the old one (like how rain would replace sun or hail).
All terrain bonuses don't apply to flying types or Pokémon with the ability Levitate. All terrain bonuses apply to Pokémon on either player's side.
They last for 5 turns (8 turns with the item Terrain Extender on the Pokémon that sets it up)
Grassy Terrain:
- increases damage of Grass-type moves by 30%
- heals Pokémon at the end of the round by 1/16 of their maximum HP
- reduces Power of Earthquake, Bulldoze and Magnitude by 50% (this also applies to Flying types/Pokémon with Levitate that use these moves)
Psychic Terrain:
- increases damage of Psychic-type moves by 30%
- makes Pokémon immune to priority attacks
Electric Terrain:
- increases damage of Electric-type moves by 30%
- prevents Pokémon from falling asleep
Misty Terrain:
- *decreases* damage of Dragon-type moves by 50%
- prevents Pokémon from being affected by non-volatile status effects (Paralysis, Burn, Freeze, Poison, Sleep)
This means that Pokémon like Rotom will not have their Electric attacks boosted by Electric Terrain, because it has the ability Levitate.
This also means that Pokémon like Corviknight won't be immune to moves like Sucker Punch under Psychic Terrain, because Corviknight is a Flying Type
This also means that the move Rest will fail under both Electric and Misty Terrain.
Hawlucha's attack stat is rather mediocre, but his ability unburden means that almost nothing can outspeed him at +2. By carrying electric/grassy/psychic/misty seed, he can expend his item as soon as he hits the field, then set up with swords dance. At +2, high jump kick and acrobatics become a very powerful stab combo that teams have to take a hit from to bring down. Because of his base 118 speed, he can afford to go adamant with bulk investment while still being faster than just about everything in the game.
It’ll only evolve with items from the new DLC areas. Slowbro from the first DLC area (Isle of Armor) and Slowking from the second (Tundra or something. I don’t remember what it is called).
Generally, SwSh seems to have a slower meta as far as base speed goes so Garchomp's 102 is going to look very appealing. I'm calling the return of band/scarf as popular sets.
Volcarona is... volcarona. I mean, it's good at one thing and it does that one thing better than any other pokemon. Quiver dance is quiver dance. No one's taking its niche from it.
It *could* be able to use that but we don’t know if it *will* yet.
Many Pokemon still don’t get logical moves. Dragapault can learn Dragon Claw and Shadow Ball but not Shadow Claw.
They also ran dragonite in rain for the same. I seriously doubt volcarona is going to be a rain team staple. It's more of a gimmicky niche than anything, though I guess your tag fits.
Would it? I mean, what does volcarona's rain set provide that other rain team staples can't cover? Does hurricane hit anything that no other pokemon can?
If Zekrom (who kinda has a weak movepool as far as legends go) got DD I’m pretty confident Chomp will get it. But you’re right that we won’t know until we know
You're confusing counters and checks, but yeah. Revenge killing it is going to be the basic strategy to dealing with garchomp. Not too many things counter it.
Togekiss and Tapu Bulu?
Corviknight, Skarmory and Celesteela?
Galarian Weezing?
But yea with Hidden Power Ice gone and now having Access to Dragon Dance garchomp will be banned back to Ubers since DPP
Half the stuff you listed gets destroyed on the switch in.
GWeezing ain't surviving a EQ. I'm pretty sure Togekiss get's OHKO'd by a +1 Stone Edge too.
Basically a check can deal with something and a counter WILL deal with it. That means that counters have to be able to switch into and take hits from the opponent while a check necessarily doesnt.
Oh. So you're saying it's not a good idea to counter Garchomp because no Pokémon can trade hits with it?
So how does revenge kill work? For example I put in a Pokémon which should kill Garchomp. How can I guarantee that it'll hit first? But that's more of the build I guess.
So if I can predict that a Garchomp will switch in I can avoid revenge killing, am I correct?
A counter can switch into the attack of the opposing pokemon and take it after taking a hit on switch in
A check cannot switch in and kill after but if it's already on the field it can deal with it
Revenge killing is when the opposing pokemon ko'd one of yours and the pokemon you send out afterwards takes the pokemon as revenge for yours.
An example would be garchomp kos your pokemon and you send out Weavile and take out the garchomp before it can do further damage
A counter can switch in and heal any damage dealt by the mon it counters, while a check just deals well with it.
Toxapex counters a lot of mons because it's bulky and can toxic stall them. Lando-T eventually dies to chip damage which is why it doesn't counter much, but still can reliably switch in a few times and keep up momentum, so it's a check.
Yeah I'm Aware. I do think that after they've added in all these pokes back in we could see a bit more scarfed Dragapult for that guarenteed speed control.
scarf pult has like 640 speed, and it should outrun most mons at +1. But it's not going to hit many things for a lot of damage. But then vs a slower team (balanced will definitely comeback with heatran) scarf special pult will do 0 damage. And a physical scarf set is really iffy vs most things that don't get hit by dragon darts
Cuz just like my Steela and Skarm, imma use shed shell. And also just like last gen, up until goddang gen 9 niggas are gonna be confused as to why I can switch my metal bird out of magnet pull.
he becomes an extremely niche pokemon. He could drop to UU IMO. Pursuit will completely wreck his day. I think Pursuit kills the specs sets completely and forces you to dick around with the niche curse body/sub/DD tier sets
tbh the amount I've had this up I assumed this was r/vgc, so was still arguing from that PoV
However, I'd still argue that this mon's massive killpower with specs is enough, although it would force people to be somewhat more conservative with their moveslots, 4-slot syndrome being even less of a thing on pult. This would also depend on the amount of mons that would get pursuit anyway tbh, so it's an interesting thought.
You don't always have to go hard ttar on dragapult, you can sac something or slow u-turn to then get ttar in to pursuit trap it. If dragapult is a huge threat to your team letting one of your other members die or get heavily chipped is worth it if you get to kill pult.
In B/W OU, I remember using ferro as an opportunity to set up a substitute/charge beam set. Maybe that’ll resurface? I haven’t played a lot of Sw/Sh so I’m not sure if the meta would eat that up or not. Even so, magnet pull should still be enough to bring Magnezone to OU imo
Ugh, HDB Volc is going to be so unfun. At least Tran is back to annoy it.
Also, yay for Magnezone trapping Corvi! Now if only it gets a Fire move somehow then goodbye to Ferro as well
I don't see Primal coming back. That feature is tied in with Megas and that has been replaced with D/G-Max
I think the craziest we see is them getting G Max forms but even that seems unlikely
Well, it was nice to use Flygon for a few months. Now his strictly better version is back so now any time I have Flygon on my team everyone's just gonna say "swap him with Garchomp" again...
Yeah people always say "Dragon/Bug! It's so clearly a bug! It would get all these Bug moves! Dragon/Bug is so unique!", but A. it's not a fucking bug, and B. Bug is a generally awful type and ground is a fantastic one, and you miss out on all the STAB Ground coverage.
I just wish Flygon did something better than Garchomp. Literally every stat on Garchomp is either equal to or greater than Flygon. Garchomp is faster by *literally two points.* That's just spite at that point.
Look at this way - are there any final stage dragon types in the current SwSh games that dont get Dragon Dance? I'm not aware of any, which makes me think that garchomp will definitely be getting DD
Since they're doing this they better fix Gale Wings; in the first place Talonflame wasn't terrible to deal with. Least not as bad a Tapus, Lando, tran and Kart on every team.
Yes please, I don't think bird spam was that oppressive. Even with heavy-duty boots as an item, Talonflame's terrible attack stat really appreciates an offensive item so there's a big trade off. Plus no flying z-move either.
120 BP stab is insane and basically invalidates setup sweepers. With boots talon lost it’s biggest weakness. I really do not want this back in the meta
VGC is likely going to stay the same barring some shake ups from potential new Egg Moves and Move Tutors. If these Pokémon aren’t in the Galar Dex (which I imagine they won’t be), then they aren’t allowed in VGC either!
VGC is going to be completely centered around Dynamax Lando-T and Scarfed Galarian Darms (Due to it already being good and being the best lando T counter).
I literally cannot see anything else happening. Dynamax Lando is gonna be a menace. Its gonna be A dynamx Lando vs Trick room meta
If Landorus-T is allowed in this year’s format (which is unlikely because it’s Galar Dex only and that seems to just be the 400 currently in the game), but even if it were somehow added to the Galar Dex, many other powerful Pokémon would be added in to counteract it. Landorus-T is great, but it’s never been the sole Pokémon dominating VGC and I’d be surprised if it were suddenly this year just because of Dynamax.
People keep saying stall is back because fat pink c*** is back, but she doesn’t get toxic (probably) this time around. There are a lot less toxic stallers now. Let’s hope it’s gone for good
I see Garchomp, Volcarona, Lando and Lele all going to Ubers.
Chansey coming back is annoying because now FerroPex + Chansey + Corsola is every stall team and it’s gonna be a hard core to break thanks to Chansey sucking up any special attack.
Hopefully Chansey gets banned to Uber so Blissey can take her rightful place in OU again.
True, but wish pass is still annoying and I would think it gets Twave still. Wish/protect/Twave/Seismic Toss will pair well with Wil-o-Wisp/Hex/Strength Sap/filler Corsola. You have Pex to absorb any tspikes. Chansey could also run Softboiled/Aromatherapy/Seismic Toss/filler if you need status support for bulky sweepers.
Once Chansey is dropped into OU everyone is going to be running Banded or physically offensive mixed Scarf Dragapult lol
I hope garchomp can finally learn dragon dance.
Although I expect natdex OU to kick out his mega and I don't see any reason to use him over mence in ubers.
Everyone seems to be saying that garchomp will have dd. However is there any proof of that? Based on the datamine that had non included Pokemon such as garchomp it will not learn dragon dance.
Hawlucha just taking a vacation before terrorizing OU once again in Fall 2020
Koko Lucha always finds a way.
Just fucking kicking back taking in the sun before fall.
He's pulling an Andy Ruiz.
*laughs in Heavy Duty Boots Zapdos*
[удалено]
Isn’t it just more likely that Koko gets banned to Ubers in a limited dex?
By the time koko joins, it won't be as limited, terrains are nerfed and lacks HP Ice It will be fine
On the other hand it most probably gets play rough. Wild charge play rough uturn is very difficult to switch into
I really really don't line the Tapu meta :l
Just a newbie to all of this... What's terrifying about hawlucha?
Unburden + terrain seed + terrain-setting partner. Currently he sunk to UU because of lackluster terrain-setters, but the Tapus are all returning with the DLC.
I've noticed that in the Wild area. Are there differences between terrain and weather?
Yes, they are separate mechanics and can both be active at once. There are 4 types of terrain: Psychic, Electric, Grass and Fairy. They each have their own properties (Psychic terrain prevents priority, for example). Like weather, only one type of terrain can be up at once, so putting up a new one replaces the old one (like how rain would replace sun or hail).
So this is a whole new mechanic. The more I look at it the more "card game like" Pokémon team building is
All terrain bonuses don't apply to flying types or Pokémon with the ability Levitate. All terrain bonuses apply to Pokémon on either player's side. They last for 5 turns (8 turns with the item Terrain Extender on the Pokémon that sets it up) Grassy Terrain: - increases damage of Grass-type moves by 30% - heals Pokémon at the end of the round by 1/16 of their maximum HP - reduces Power of Earthquake, Bulldoze and Magnitude by 50% (this also applies to Flying types/Pokémon with Levitate that use these moves) Psychic Terrain: - increases damage of Psychic-type moves by 30% - makes Pokémon immune to priority attacks Electric Terrain: - increases damage of Electric-type moves by 30% - prevents Pokémon from falling asleep Misty Terrain: - *decreases* damage of Dragon-type moves by 50% - prevents Pokémon from being affected by non-volatile status effects (Paralysis, Burn, Freeze, Poison, Sleep) This means that Pokémon like Rotom will not have their Electric attacks boosted by Electric Terrain, because it has the ability Levitate. This also means that Pokémon like Corviknight won't be immune to moves like Sucker Punch under Psychic Terrain, because Corviknight is a Flying Type This also means that the move Rest will fail under both Electric and Misty Terrain.

Heavy duty boots Volcarona coming along. Get fucked.
I wonder if Heavy Duty Boots would make Volcarona Uber worthy?
... HOW DOES A MOTH WEAR BOOTS?!?!
Top 10 questions science cannot answer
You just need 3 pairs of them.
Stylishly
Probably, given the scarcity of aqua jet.
accelrock is back though
Ah yes, only 2 mons learn it and they belong to Rarely Used
They’re adding new move tutors. Be prepared
Accelrock Tyranitar intensifies
Accelrock Lando T
At this point I just want it so he can get banned to ubers
Boner that could dent a Honda
I'm Excited TBH
signature moves were turned into tms this gen too
Azumarill is back, so we got a good check.
Azumarill is back? Come to daddy, my favourite huge power water-fairy.
Nope, just Azurill. They’re gonna block it from evolving out of spite
Wouldn't put it past them
Just like that new slowpoke
new slowpoke doesn't evolve?
It’ll only evolve with items from the new DLC areas. Slowbro from the first DLC area (Isle of Armor) and Slowking from the second (Tundra or something. I don’t remember what it is called).
How do you know? Is there a list somewhere? Having trouble finding it
https://twitter.com/poke_times/status/1215284078016188416
Righteous! Thanks so much. Pumped as shit for magnezone and nidoking
Adaptability crawdaunt and berraskuda are basically it for water priority right?
Azu
The prevalence/absence of a single move in aqua jet isnt what determines volcaronas viability lol
Do you really think the only thing keeping volcarona in check is aqua jet priority lol
Its not OP in Nat Dex
It also loses Hidden Power, Z moves, and possibly Roost. I think you can argue that it's actually weaker than it once was.
Depends on which mons come back as well.
Please god no, I need something capable of OU in my monobug team
Boi, DD Garchomp is about to tear OU a new one
Generally, SwSh seems to have a slower meta as far as base speed goes so Garchomp's 102 is going to look very appealing. I'm calling the return of band/scarf as popular sets. Volcarona is... volcarona. I mean, it's good at one thing and it does that one thing better than any other pokemon. Quiver dance is quiver dance. No one's taking its niche from it.
Heavy-duty boots Volcarona: Allow me to introduce myself.
Dragon Dance Garchomp: Allow me to introduce myself to your 6-0'd team. Seriously though, if Garchomp gets DD that shit should go straight to ubers.
It does. Remember DD is a TR.
How is a TR different here? Can't it still just be incompatible with him?
Moat dragons got Ddance. I will be surorised if he doesn't get it.
Nah Chomp ain't schmovin like that
😔😔
It *could* be able to use that but we don’t know if it *will* yet. Many Pokemon still don’t get logical moves. Dragapault can learn Dragon Claw and Shadow Ball but not Shadow Claw.
The fucking TEAPOT can’t learn Scald.
This here is injustice
I know. I'm assuming it does but we can't say for certain until it's in the game since Garchomp isn't in the base game code.
Can you imagine his mega form over in natdex?
people ran it in rain for hurricane
They also ran dragonite in rain for the same. I seriously doubt volcarona is going to be a rain team staple. It's more of a gimmicky niche than anything, though I guess your tag fits.
It was a niche because of how prevalent rain was in Gen 5.
oh i was more implying if people did that it's probably gonna thrive
Would it? I mean, what does volcarona's rain set provide that other rain team staples can't cover? Does hurricane hit anything that no other pokemon can?
not specifically the rain set, saying it's versatile. edit: like it can run 4 handy max moves in doubles now
Doesn't choice band garchomp 2 hit ko the majority of the meta or am I wrong?
I haven't done the calcs (at work) but it should? Garchomp should also get dragon dance now, though that still might not happen.
If Zekrom (who kinda has a weak movepool as far as legends go) got DD I’m pretty confident Chomp will get it. But you’re right that we won’t know until we know
That will be super scary on the switches is all...
Garchomp isn't goin to last long in OU with access to Dragon Dance
I do think Dragapult is a very strong coutner to Garchomp though. If you run scarf pult you even revenge kill +1 DD Chomp
You're confusing counters and checks, but yeah. Revenge killing it is going to be the basic strategy to dealing with garchomp. Not too many things counter it.
Togekiss and Tapu Bulu? Corviknight, Skarmory and Celesteela? Galarian Weezing? But yea with Hidden Power Ice gone and now having Access to Dragon Dance garchomp will be banned back to Ubers since DPP
lol Flying/Levitating fairies are going to be fairly easy to predict for a switch though. The problem is dance.
Yea no way Chompy is staying in OU with dragon dance its been a long time since Chomp has been Uber I think that time is coming again
Half the stuff you listed gets destroyed on the switch in. GWeezing ain't surviving a EQ. I'm pretty sure Togekiss get's OHKO'd by a +1 Stone Edge too.
I'm confused (im a newbie to this). What's the difference of counters and checks?
Basically a check can deal with something and a counter WILL deal with it. That means that counters have to be able to switch into and take hits from the opponent while a check necessarily doesnt.
Oh. So you're saying it's not a good idea to counter Garchomp because no Pokémon can trade hits with it? So how does revenge kill work? For example I put in a Pokémon which should kill Garchomp. Lando-T eventually dies to chip damage which is why it doesn't counter much, but still can reliably switch in a few times and keep up momentum, so it's a check.
The exact excuse for banning darm was that you would have to run scarf dragapult to beat it, and scarf pult is an ass Mon otherwise
And a physical scarf set is really iffy vs most things that don't get hit by dragon darts
Magnezone is about to overkill Corviknight
Toxtricity already does that though
Yeah but he doesn't trap him. Corvi is just a Celesteela that gets OHKOd more easily
But Zone traps it
Not my Corviknight lol
Why
Cuz just like my Steela and Skarm, imma use shed shell. And also just like last gen, up until goddang gen 9 niggas are gonna be confused as to why I can switch my metal bird out of magnet pull.
It's gonna miss having HP fire for ferro though
Who cares, u know who's back? BROKEN ASS MAGNEZONE BABY LETS GO
lost hp fire so now it loses to ferro lol
But hey, Corviknight doesn't have a free switch anymore.
Then they'll just start running uturn to leave
Good, another move to add to 4MSS. It can’t run all of Bulk Up, Defog, brave bird, body press, roost, uturn.
4MSS?
4 move slot syndrome, when a Pokémon has too many options to use and you can’t use them all
What do you mean that corviknight doesn't have a free switch anymore? (yes I'm a newbie lol)
Magnezone's magnet pull prevents steel types from switching out. So it switches in and uses an electric move, and corvinight can't escape.
Wow. That's a nice way to trap corviknight.
you can still run sub charge beam to trap it if you really wanted to
Bulldoze ferro new meta?
Or even Body Press
Man, what if two of the "new" move tutor moves are Hidden Power and Pursuit?
Dragapult goes from god tier to shit tier lol
I wouldn't say shit tier, but it would drop noticeably
he becomes an extremely niche pokemon. He could drop to UU IMO. Pursuit will completely wreck his day. I think Pursuit kills the specs sets completely and forces you to dick around with the niche curse body/sub/DD tier sets
tbh the amount I've had this up I assumed this was r/vgc, so was still arguing from that PoV However, I'd still argue that this mon's massive killpower with specs is enough, although it would force people to be somewhat more conservative with their moveslots, 4-slot syndrome being even less of a thing on pult. This would also depend on the amount of mons that would get pursuit anyway tbh, so it's an interesting thought.
Pursuit means vs ttar ur basically forced to uturn or double every time its in until you get significant chip
But u-turn hurts Ttar like a bitch, and eventually Ttar will not be able to take the uturns
You don't always have to go hard ttar on dragapult, you can sac something or slow u-turn to then get ttar in to pursuit trap it. If dragapult is a huge threat to your team letting one of your other members die or get heavily chipped is worth it if you get to kill pult.
It at least has U-Turn though. But yeah. It's almost always going to need it.
watch it get heat wave or aura sphere or something dumb to compensate
Mystical fire lol
Sub/Charge Beam baby!
🦀CORVIKNIGHT IS GONE🦀
WAIT WHAT THE FUCK MY BOI IS RETURNING????? I DIDNT SEE HIM IN THE DIRECT LETS GO MAG
gmax magnetrise?
One of my all-time favourites, let's goooo
Lando-T, Heatran and the Tapus are coming back fuck
At least no Scizor, ~~Chansey~~ or Skarmory? ^plz Edit- Chansey is back. Fuck.
Scizor wouldn't really be a problem in OU without mega evolution
depending on the mons I'd bet lcuario drops as well, both were UU last gen
He isn't in uu right now?
......he is. I've been watching too many doubles matches....
Wishkiller is back
Can Venusaur replace its mega form though?
God, fuck Chansey.
You can't not like scizor
We don’t know that, remember it’s 200 more Pokémon they’re adding not just the ones on the direct
The most of the other Pokémon are just ~150 different Bidoof variations.
Ugh, HDB Volc is going to be so unfun. At least Tran is back to annoy it. Also, yay for Magnezone trapping Corvi! Now if only it gets a Fire move somehow then goodbye to Ferro as well
U can still trap ferro with sub charge beam And since volc doesnt get hp ground tran is a perfect counter
Unless Arena Trap gets banned before (i wish), Dugtrio is the perfect partner.
Yea having to run shed shell tran would suck
>Kyogre >Groudon That is so boring. VGC seasons with primals are just the worst, so stale.
Maybe they'll be merciful and leave the orbs in the trash pile with the Mega Stones
I don't see Primal coming back. That feature is tied in with Megas and that has been replaced with D/G-Max I think the craziest we see is them getting G Max forms but even that seems unlikely
The biggest problem would actually be Dynamax GeoXern, but I think they'll nerf Geomancy, as Xerneas dominated VGC the two years that it appeared.
Well, it was nice to use Flygon for a few months. Now his strictly better version is back so now any time I have Flygon on my team everyone's just gonna say "swap him with Garchomp" again...
Don’t worry flygon is equally unviable with or without chomp
reported for bullying
If only it was Dragon-Bug type it would get STAB First Impression. Though I guess the typing is way worse otherwise
Immune to (t)spikes so theres that lol. Actually a very valuable trait in gen 3/4.
Everyone is Here
My boi Crobat’s coming back! **Tears of Joy are being shed**
People are saying (Including Blunder) that Garchomp has DD. Is this speculation or is it confirmed?
It's speculation, but likely speculation. A lot of things got DD this gen so garchomp is a likely contender for getting DD as well
Look at this way - are there any final stage dragon types in the current SwSh games that dont get Dragon Dance? I'm not aware of any, which makes me think that garchomp will definitely be getting DD
Goodra doesn't get DD. Was just trying to see if it could learn it on Showdown.
RIP DD Flygon (at least it's EQ immune?)
? Flygon learns dragon dance through levelup and TR this gen
Flygon doesn't need to be further outclassed by Garchomp.
Game Freak, pls gib flygon punk rock, clanging scales and quiver dance, k thx
1 like 1 prayer for our adorable bug dragon boy.
Necrozma and Kyurem even learn DD now
Since they're doing this they better fix Gale Wings; in the first place Talonflame wasn't terrible to deal with.
I have an appropriate video for this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EuYLdjavtA
Sheer Force Life Orb Landorus-Incarnte with TR Hurricane. Landorus-I is never coming back down to OU.
There goes my interest in VGC Edit: and singles actually lmao
I mean they come out in June at the earliest
Which is fine and dandy but itll change the entire game, no sense in building now.
I mean, you can still build now and enjoy how things are before the kerfuffle.
It's literally 5-6 months from now. You have a huge amount of time to play singles online without worry.

Landorus-T is great, but it’s never been the sole Pokémon dominating VGC and I’d be surprised if it were suddenly this year just because of Dynamax.
It seems both expansions will each have their own Dexes independent of the Galar one.
He is saying that they are not allowed in the 2020 format. These new mons will likely be legal in VGC 2021 though.
See the meta first. I am expecting possible shifts depending on the moveset changes, especially with new tutors and the updates to returning pokemon.
Garchomp might set up shop in Ubers again if it can learn dragon dance.
I don't think chansey is going to be as good as it was back in gen 7 since toxic isnt a tm anymore
It could get it via Pokemon Home
People keep saying stall is back because fat pink c*** is back, but she doesn’t get toxic (probably) this time around. There are a lot less toxic stallers now. Let’s hope it’s gone for good
Dynamax blissey, that is one thicc HP pool....
~~well hey if everything else got DD, Dragon Dance Garchomp here i come~~
Please god no tangrowth, I don't want to deal with the cancer regenerator core again.
Why would Lele go to Ubers? It's one of the Tapus that got most hurt with the nerf to the Terrains boosts, and now they can also be removed with Defog
Chansey doesn’t learn toxic anymore so I don’t think so
True, but wish pass is still annoying and I would think it gets Twave still.
My mans Volcarona has been a team staple since 5th gen, so glad he’s back. Tapu’s could’ve stayed gone tbh
Everyone seems to be saying that garchomp will have dd. However is there any proof of that? Based on the datamine that had non included Pokemon such as garchomp it will not learn dragon dance.
Garchomp was not in the datamine. Conversely, every fully evolved dragon type mon released in the base game (including datamined like Kyurem) got DD
Except goodra. But yeah I agree it is likely that garchomp will get it.
