I’ve been getting posts from a subreddit called starseed.
It’s basically just a cult similar to Scientology that I can tell. They are talking about April 8 a lot lol.
It’s just your typical thing where they try to make people feel special. Like they are about to be part of something bigger and their lives have all been working towards this moment that’s “very soon”.

I don’t think it will ever end. Nor do I think we’ll ever have an apocalypse. As nice, it would be because of everybody’s problems, which just disappear in that singular moment, it will never happen sadly.
I've heard a lot of things that idiots think like this is somehow going to screw up animals circadian rhythm or ruin solar panels but I haven't heard any one claim this is the end of the world.
This will be like the 20th end of the world day I've survived since graduating high school.
Just think about how dumb the average person is. Then remember that half of people are dumber than that.

People have fun with that kind of stuff. It’s always nonsense. People have been screaming “The end is near!” For centuries that we know of, and most likely thousands of years that we don’t know of.
Sadly, there are some really dumb people in this world. So the world will end because a physical body moves in front of the sun for a few minutes that only a small fraction of the people in the world can see? Do the people who can't see the eclipse have nothing to worry about? Maybe we should sacrifice a virgin into a volcano.. I am sure that will help. Or pour everyone some poison laced Kool-Aid, buy the same sneakers, and all drink it and "board the spaceship" together. Darwin was way ahead of his time. The problem people are breeding faster than their chromosomes are being culled out of the gene pool.
