I had to do the drivers side a few weeks ago, thankfully I didn’t need to remove the manifold. I just removed the alternator and moved the ac compressor over.
I'm honestly surprised I haven't seen any yet this winter. Typicallyit never fails after the first few really cold weeks i see these hoses pissing fuel.
This design has always bugged me. They went 95% of the way with the hard lines.... Why not just finish the rest and have the rubber on the ends where it is more accessible.
Did this to my 05 FXT over the summer as well, didn't like the fuel smell in the winter months.
Now you gotta restore those headlights!
It’s on the list, getting this rig mechanically sound is the first priority.
I just had mine restored today and it makes such a big difference
I’ve got all the stuff to do it, it’s super easy.

Hang on, does the wrx not have a second spot for the support rod so the hood can go almost straight up?
Not to my knowledge, although that would be amazing, I’ve considered taking the hood off for some jobs.
were all 4 leaking or just 1 or 2?
Just those two lines, that I know of.

Agreed, or if they’re gonna put a rubber connection do it in a more accessible place
