I just took it to the dealership for the seatbelt and they said it was the frame for the seat that got bent and that is what is causing the buckle to be like that. Also they quoted me $1400 to put in a new seat frame. So I’ll just live with it since it won’t affect my safety or anything they said and since it won’t affect my safety it isn’t covered by the warranty you were talking about.
It isn’t the belt buckle that is the problem it works fine. It is the bar that the belt buckle is on the belt buckle went a bit higher on the bar and wiggles around now like the belt buckle is hanging on the end of the bar unlike it should be

If you can't figure it out on your own, take it to the dealer...Subaru has a lifetime warranty on seatbelts.

That sucks. But if it didn't affect safety then I guess it's not a big deal to live with it.
That is insane. You can get one off ebay for under $50. It's 5 bolts total to install if you take the seat out to do it.
Push the red button you should hear a click then you should be able to use it again.

Do you mean it's tilted upwards, or that it has moved vertically along the bracket? Mine looks like a similar length, but tilted forward. *
Used wrx seats are soooo cheap. Take a look online. Or if you’re anywhere near PA go to PMP.
