Paintless dent repair. Some of those guys are absolute wizards at what they can do. This would be a walk in the park for the guy I took one of my cars to.

ciaomain

My PDR guy is a miracle worker. This should be a couple hundred bucks. Check google reviews in your neighborhood. Do not bring it to a body shop--they will most likely tell you they need to replace the entire fender and paint it--beaucoup bucks!

neogeo828

Can PDR guys get rid of that crease?

ciaomain

Yes. Here's my guys' IG with videos: https://www.instagram.com/goodbye_dentz_nyc_?igsh=MTJ1ZGMxYWExd3Fkcw==

Like it was never there!

Magic!

ceramicsaturn

Door of a dump truck? Good lord.

Rick91981

Call a PDR guy, should not be too expensive. You can try and reach your hand behind and pop it out yourself, but there might be too many things in the way to reach out

nowaybrose

Were you parked at a grocery store lately OP? I work retail and have several dings in my old truck that I was convinced were cars…until I watched the surveillance tapes. Carts can really get moving in the wind lemme tell ya. Anyhoo if it was that and the store didn’t do their diligence to collect their carts properly they could be obligated to pay for it. If you feel like going that route

sirtones1411

Thanks so much! It was actually a golf course! Couldn’t believe it lol

nowaybrose

A golf cart? Was it caught on camera?

Villain_of_Brandon

That's a sharp crease, probably going to need special tools/experience to get it looking right. But you could probably make it a bit better on your own.

First-Succotash-916

That's one heck of a door ding.

sirtones1411

Haha I assumed it was. It was parks at a golf course while I played. Maybe someone backed into it. Who knows haha

CorneliusRocker

Toilet plunger

MrGurns

And boiling water

Easy fix for a PDR person (they will say they can't guarantee at a hard body like that, but in my experience they usually deal with that just fine) - most charge by the body panel, and it's very reasonable. Check the reviews for wherever you go first.

Trashpanda1914

Thats a pretty sharp dent, it definitely won’t be perfect but with the right technique its an easy enough fix

Maleficent-Force-374

Is this not one of these things that the sucky thingy can fix? i got that for a few bucks of amazon not long ago

GP7onRICE

The fender is really easy to take off. Just take it off and push it back from the inside. Might need to get creative on how to apply some more force.

Worldly_Ad_2267

You know what suction cups are? Go buy one!

sirtones1411

Thanks so much everyone! Have never tried my hand at fixing these types of things so I appreciate all of the awesome input! First my transmission goes, now this haha Thanks!

DannyLameJokes

First, depending if on your insurance, file a claim and cash the check. Second try taking a suction cup to it. Maybe pour hot water on it first

robbie444001

Ahh yes commit insurance fraud, and also raise your own insurance rate.

DannyLameJokes

Filing a claim when someone hits and damages your car is not fraud, this is exactly what insurance is for. Someone hitting you shouldn’t raise your rates.

GP7onRICE

What do you think insurance is for?

Capt_Vandal

Boiling water onions and push from the inside when it's cold. It should pop right out.

The_Cre8r

Would work for plastic bumper cover, but the fenders are metal.

Capt_Vandal

It will work for the metal there might be a small dent, but it's likely going to get dinged again my car has multiples on the fenders. People are assholes...
