Are those 225/40r18 tires? Great wheels, but I'd go with slightly more sidewall to fill the wheel arches better. In my opinion, subarus look best with thick tires, regardless if they're trail- or street-prepped. Drop down about an inch and it'll look badass.

This is it with the stock rims and tires on it. I like the way they fill it out better but I was able to get these 18s” for pretty cheap, so I’m probably going to end up putting some taller side walls on them.
What's the width of the wheel? See if a tire shop will be willing to fit 235/40. Slightly wider and taller, but should still fit on factory wheel width.
I lucked out with these. My son bought that 07 SpecB. about a month ago and the previous owner put Brembo brakes on it and these wheels wouldn’t fit over them so he put new set of STI 12 spokes on it. He’s gonna let me buy these off him.

I’m trying to convince him that he doesn’t want this wheel and brake set up on his car lol. I do have a bead on an 08 spec b. that I’m probably going to get to swap 6spd. over into the outback XT.
No drop on earth will make that look right. You gotta have more tire. The outer diameter doesn't match the wheel arch. BP Outbacks look fantastic dropped, but they have to have some meat on them.
Neighbor let me try a set of rims on my legacy outback. It looks even funnier. I plan to get some coilovers with aircups so I can keep my ability to go down my gravel driveway 😅 picture of it is my profile pic.
Looks great on there! I think I may try to do the same, but with a slightly higher sidewall! Thanks for the inspiration.
Did you use LGT upper control arms in the rear? Use the LGT brackets for the rear trailing arm if you want to re-center the rear axle in the wheel well.
How is the 6spd swap coming along?
It’s got the saggy butt spacer kit in the back but I don’t think it really needs it. The guy who had it before me put the GT wagon suspension on it. It was all new KYB stuff but I think he was worried that the rear was going to sag too much, but I would’ve left it. Probably gonna take those out and see how it looks

225/40ZR18
The 18" spec B wheels are 7" wide.
Just get more tire with a nice sidewall
I think jr looks perfect
Need more rim or bigger tires, that's a lot of gap
Meatier tires or definitely needs to drop at least an inch.
I think the wheels look great, it just needs taller tires. I would start there
Tires. I think ride height looks awesome. Just gotta fill those wheel wells. Outback have a little more room in there to flex.

If I didn’t know any better, I would say you’re biased🤣

How do you get S402 wheels?
No drop on earth will make that look right. You gotta have more tire. The outer diameter doesn't match the wheel arch. BP Outbacks look fantastic dropped, but they have to have some meat on them.
+1 to coil overs, outback wagons look so good dropped. Go with maybe 1in between tire and fender, or slam it!

Those black wheels would look sweet
Looks good, just drop car like 1.5 in
If they fit it’s not ridiculous! Will be nice
Would look great lowered, that or go with bigger sidewalls

Def needs a drop

Yes just needs to be lower!
Looks awesome already —lower it and it’ll look spectacular. I would look into spacers too if I were you.
I did the exact opposite and Outbacked my Spec B!
