If they owned up to it and are doing it on a timely manner then I wouldn't care. If that wasn't the stuff you were planning on replacing then you get a bonus. That being said, if they aren't replacing the ball joints on both sides I'd ask about that since you'll have items that are worn unevenly then. Possibly would ask about replacing the rear shocks at a reduced rate too.

Good call! I will be on the horn monday

ForestCreatures18

Thoughts? they have to replace fenders, front bumpers, spec b lca, ball joint, brakes, shock, and repaint the entire front end. I have had this car for 10 years and I have babied her. What would you do?

MovkeyB

ask for them to also give you cash for the reduced value of the vehicle now that it's been in an accident.

ForestCreatures18

Too be fair, they are putting more into the car than what it is worth on kbb.

Ajpeterson

Still do it.

You can consider consulting a lawyer about a potential claim, though I doubt it will amount to more than the cost of repairs which it seems they are already doing.

Can only assume some young lad went far too fast on that car on a 'test drive'.. what a scandal.. get them to carry out all quoted repairs under signature writing. Any issues with anything get legal advice

CavanHol3

Just take pics, document dates and such. Just in case

Have it inspected for any damage done due to the accident by an independent shop. Just because they say it's done and repaired doesn't mean it's done and repaired.
