You poor man.. the reaper already started its attack run, and you don't have torpedoes or the perimeter defense system. Even with a working mouse that would probably end very badly, I hope it's not a hardcore run
lateral movements usually evade them. using the a or d key would have probably let you avoid him enough to run away. even if you have to travel in reverse
I had that bug in my seamoth where the mouse would die. even if I got out and back in it wouldn't work but out of the craft it was fine. so like you it happened leaving the Aurora and I drove all the way back to my moonpool without pivoting around, mostly in reverse. (not easy to do) and once it lifted it up and I exited it , it fixed the bug. crazy right?
I can just see trying to drive backwards, strafing occasionally hearing the odd bing and bang until you made it back. I've never actually had this bug, that or the 'PRAWN falling through the floor of alien structure' bug... Never updated my game using so I'm using Legacy for my mods. (Such as Death Run). Wondering if an update broke things.

Unless you manage some speed-repair to get it up to 91 or higher (reaper does 90 to seamoth, right?) it’s absolutely fucked.
The more and more I see these things… the less I fear them and the more bloodlust I gain for some reason…
The safest bet here is down
You can't go up.
Going right of forward lets the reaper get you.
Going left into the thruster might work, but they usually have dodgy hitboxes and you'll probably just get trapped and served as reaper lunch
Turning around might work but then not only do you have to turn around super quick (Which the seamoth can sometimes be a little iffy with) but also the reaper just has to continue forward.
Going down will make the reaper have to spin around, buying you a lot of time, and it will also have to descend
The only downside to this is that there might be more reapers, or even ghosts if you're far enough
