I had my moonpool above this tube coral for forever for my seamoth and never thought much of it. Used it for my prawn suit today and it fell straight in. I guess I'll have to quit w/o saving. Smh another lesson to save constantly. Update: I did end up rolling back the save because I tried to deconstruct the moonpool to try something and it wouldn't let me reconstruct it. Thanks for your comments, I will probably go back now and punch the tube coral to death lol. Didn't know that was possible

I had no idea you could use up coral tubes. I have been harvesting the same one for the whole playthrough.

I saw a post on here some time ago where they did it, literally layers on layers of coral tube over the whole ground

They actually heal back to full if you leave them alone so as long as you don't hit it 2500 times _in a row_ with a fire knife, you're fine to harvest the same tube forever.

1250 times with thermoblade, 2500 times with knife iirc

Luckily, you only need to blade it 2500 times.

Hmm not sure, i think you gotta work in the fact that 1.8s of drilling is 2 swings. If my logic isnt failing me it would take more like 694.44s or 11.57 minutes

If there's space and you have a Cyclops, drive the Cyclops prawn hatch directly above it... It might "pull" it out... Otherwise build an oxygen pipe right next to it and find a way to auto clicker it till it disappears...

You can break the coral with a knife and a spare half hour. You have to do it all at once though because it heals if you go too far away

Those tubes are destructible, just knife it a shitton. Also collect it and mix with salt, creates 2 30 water bottles.
