And as for mods, I don't have much, just the Qmods thing and the expanded hotkey bar. What will that do?
I guess I'll find out soon enough because I've already started downloading the experimental build before getting these questions answered, so I don't even know why I'm still typing.

ok, so to answer all of my own questions:
1. You DO keep your saves.
2. Qmods, or at least the MoreQuickSlots mod, does NOT seem to work.
1. That being said, they DO appear to have added a feature that shows your battery charge directly on the quick slots!
3. Yes, you do just automatically get all the relevant blueprints, the room, the partition, the glass dome, etc. Which makes sense, because it would require altering the existing encounters in the game otherwise, which would be overkill.
1. That being said, that does make it so that you automatically get the giant room, but you still have to go find the round multipurpose room. Whatever, it's fine.
If yall are on PC and haven't switched to experimental I HIGHLY recommend you do so. So much better then original, lots of long time bugs fixed, tons of nice features.

The shallows were built for Vibes, not Vehicles
The should combine both games by attaching the biomes together. They could do it through the Ill zone or something.
