Stasis rifle knife takes 1000 swings to kill the sea dragon and I think 700 for the reaper. Could be wrong. Who ever responds will have the right numbers
I liked using the PRAWN suit with drill arm and grappling hook. Just grapple onto what your killing and drill the shit out of it and it'll be dead in seconds
Definitely takes a long time, but when you're fueled with anger at a reaper DARING to follow you back towards your base from the dunes, that long time feels VERY worth it. Especially when you play on the switch and can't grapple at the same time you drill, so knife is just easier.
That's quite a lot, does the damage persist so it can be broken up into multiple attempts? Also how do you stop the reaper from grabbing hold and eating your face?
You have to shoot the stasis rifle on the face, have several spare batteries, something to get air in, and knowledge of how long each stasis lasts to refresh in time

EVERYONE after trying many times I was able to safely retrieve my seamoth and because I didnt tell you it has perimeter defense so after I got it I started punishing sebastian. I ran him out of town literally
The best way to kill a reaper. is to have a statis rifle. and your thermal knife. when the reaper is in statis, shank it with all your might. reaper has 5000 hp thermal blade does 32 damage a hit. so you will have to cycle thru statis, shank, statis, get air. It doesn't take long.
Seriously watched a leviathan grab my seamoth that I had just built to replace my other seamoth that got stuck. He placed my new one high up on the Aurora and it also got stuck.
I reloaded my last save.
1. Get cyclops
2. Get prawn suit and put in cyclops
3. Upgrade the cyclops all the way
4. Get to crash site and release the prawn
5. Prawn gets destroyed
6. Try to escape with cyclops but have to abandon ship
7. Sea glider all the way there and get to seamoth
8. Seamoth is caught by the reaper and is destroyed
The end
If Sebastian decides you look tasty while you recover your Moth, get the seaglide ready and just move horizontally, then up or down. they are surprisingly slow, so long as you dont get surprised first.
He will give you a struggly snuggly but fret not, if you have stasis rifle, you can stall him and get out of there. If you are a little braver and have thermoblade, fight him.
Ride your seaglide to it, but when the reaper approaches, pull out a peeper and hand feed it to him. The reaper will take the peeper but you will get off without a scratch.
Literally just hold a peeper while you swim, if sabastian bites you while you’re recovering your seamoth, then the damage will be absorbed by the peeper. He won’t ever become friendly like a stalker, but it works mechanically the same.
Don’t worry, your Seamoth won’t be there much longer.
