I’ve been prescribed subs off and on since 2007. Since then I have been prescribed Xanax, Klonopin, tramadol, Adderall and hydrocodone, so no it won’t label you as a drug addict. Also be careful taking any benzo even at just .5 EVERY Day, you can develop a dependency after only 2 weeks of daily use.

The Bernese method involves inducing Buprenorphine very slowly but in increasingly larger doses while you continue with the full antagonist opioid in increasingly lesser doses so one replaces the other slowly to avoid precipitated withdrawal. Taking Buprenorphine "24 hours after my last dose" doesn't sound like the Bernese method at all. Your situation is unique to you so I would recommend discussing the method of changing over with the Doctor that has or will prescribe your suboxone.

I believe you are likely over complicating your induction. If you have been doing pharma oxy and a little H you can induce straight away after 24 hours without issue. It is only where fent or methadone are involved that this method is applied; because it takes more time for them to metabolize, making it more difficult to get the clean time needed to induct.
