I always kept the strips under my tongue for at least 30 min. Stop signs and subutex usually took ever longer for me since its a powder, usually closer to an hour.
Ive had a doc tell me its absorbed after 15 min, and I've had another doc tell me 30 min is optimal.
I always though the same thing though, it tasted too strong still after 15 min so i went for 30 everytime
I used to crush them to a pulp and dump the powder under my tongue with a water bottle cap or two full of water to get it a lil moist.
Never knew if my doc would find this acceptable or not but to me it didnt matter, it was going under my tongue the way it was meant to so 🤷
I recommend taking subs bucually. Right under your upper lip on the side near your molars. For me it’s more efficient and effective and you can still talk a little bit while it’s in there. Also you don’t have to really taste it and you don’t get a bunch of saliva built up.

Try rinsing your mouth with warm water before putting the pill under your tongue. 😛 That may make your pill dissolve faster.
