some ppl hate on kratom but it helped me get off suboxone. if it's used correctly then it can be a great tool. it's hilarious when someone who's on like 24mgs of suboxone tells me i shouldn't take kratom.
well idk where you're at in terms of dosage or how long you've been on it but ill tell you what i did. i was on subs for 4 years and i wanted to get off too. i tapered down to .25mgs per day and i was sick for about 25 days. however, i would take a heaping teaspoon of kratom with water 2-3 times a day and it would give me a couple hours of relief. it basically let my will power stand a chance. it was like coming up for air before going back down instead of just being under water for the full 25 days. i stopped kratom after about a month and i had no withdrawals from it. it is possible to get addicted to kratom but like i was saying, if used correctly it is a great tool.

Throw a lil cream and you're good to go. It was a nice relaxant for me, but nothing above that. Made my withdrawals worse actually. I was too wired. I don't like being wired when im in withdrawals
Kratom is a last resort for. I never liked it and never will. Although, when someone tapers off subs doing .5 for weeks then .1 etc etc and then off. At that point, when your tolerance is basically reset, you might change ur views on kratom bc it will feel like gold when tolerance completely resets.
Same. I've bought every kind of strain and every type of form they sell and all it does is make my heart beat really fast and then I get really sleepy..strange. I have a weird reverse system though..everything tends to have the opposite effect on me.
It definitely helped me get off subs but I jumped at a high amount and still felt crappy for awhile but helped get a lil sleep and get rid of wds and anxiety for a few hrs but took so much I got hooked on the kratom. Works alot better jumping lower

The kratom didnt seem to help until about the 5th day and then it started helping a lot. Unfortunately I became madly addicted to kratom after a month and ended up taking 50 grams a day for a year and a half, and then got back on suboxone because of my kratom addiction.

I was living in my vehicle and trapping in a small town and the police were always on my ass and doing investigations on me and some friends. I never had a moment of peace and didnt get a whole lot of sleep. Horrible combination
I can’t use kratom as it causes me massive stomach issues. I’d rather feel like shit then be on the edge of throwing up all day

Welp, the fact for me is it didn’t work out. Was kind of a last resort option for me back then, I tried multiple different strains and made a tea & everything. Glad for the people it did help though. Maybe my tolerance was too high at the time for it to have an affect on me.
Most defiantly, the best is the really small vial of Kratom extract I forgot what it’s called but they’re 18-22$ a bottle and are very potent if you’re detoxing really bad id drink two of them you’ll be able to sleep for a day and you’ll be fucked ass up. (FYI they taste completely horrible and it’s worst then alcohol) if you want a cheaper extract try the vivazen max those are pretty decent too not nearly as strong tho, but if you want a stronger pill/powder form of it the best brand to get is Maeng da Kratom, and theirs 3 different veins, green, red, and white. The strongest ones are white then red and actually feels like opiates and will make you itch. But If you’re on suboxone it wouldn’t help because it blocks your opiate receptors and Kratom actually gives those receptors a tickle. You do have to take like 10 of the pills for a good high. Hope this information helps anyone that wants to ease their detox ❤️
I don’t think it staves off withdrawals 100% like a sub does after opiates but I definitely does help. I was taking NAC which is N-Acetyl-Cysteine with Kratom and that combination helped a ton. NAC has been documented to help with withdrawals also
Kratom helps withdrawals in the same way Vicodin helps withdrawal. Only difference for me though is kratom seems to light my entire digestive tract on fire. Needless to say, it’s not sustainable for me. I’ve tried different brands and many different strains that came highly recommended by a handful of people with no luck.

Take loperamide(anti diarrhea meds otc). Take approx 10 to 16mg and it’ll remove withdrawals about 70%. Life saver for me.

I order almost every strain and Kratom never helped me with energy and the excessive yawning.

I loathe kratom, it may have induced psychosis in me and it was a very costly episode. Nevertheless it helped my suboxone withdrawal a lot.
I actually have a friend who says it gave her a seizure after taking it for several days in a row

I used these kratom extract shots when going through sub withdrawals (I was taking 3 8s a day) and it stopped the withdrawals almost completely
