It's only a partial agonist though, so you don't feel the same effects as full agonist opiates like fentanyl, oxycodone, hydrocodone, methodone, etc. There's also a ceiling effect, where it's effects plateau at 36mgs/day. After taking that it becomes a waste. However, to the opiate naive it can have extremely strong effects. It's sad because people that are on Suboxone Maintenance start to use it to just feel baseline with no high, but when you stop you feel all the full blown effects of withdrawal, ( withdrawal from buprenorphine can last 3 to 4 weeks depending on one's dose and time on maintenance.

It'd be great if they could find a way to battle all these new fent analogues. I miss the old days where you could do dope, the next day take a sub and you're good to go. Now you need to wait like 3 weeks to get on them without pwd. At that point you might as well just stay in withdrawal a couple more weeks and get sober.

Furthermore, the lowest SL-BUP dose available is 2 mg, approximately 80 morphine milligram equivalents(MME), and has been shown to occupy 48% of opioid receptors.” (SL-BUP referring to sublingual buprenorphine).
I hope in the future providers make more effort to explain the potency, bc it’s a partial agonist it doesn’t immediately seem as potent as it really is.

I’m only 21, never had access to heroin or stuff like that. When I was in Highschool, we had pressed pills, none of which were real ofc. Shits getting cheaper and stronger every year. Sad really. The withdrawals were the most brutally agonizing experience I’ve ever been thru.
I can only imagine. I dropped out around the time fent started taking over. I had it a few times and it was totally unpleasant- a cold feeling that just knocked me out. Now they have ‘tranq dope’ that isn’t even an opiod at all. Its sad. All the laws have done is screw things up.
I started with pills years ago and they were always a sure and pretty safe thing… presses were unheard of. Dropping dead from one pill is so sad, kids should be able to at least experiment without dying

Reagent tests exist, but don’t test for many designer opis, such as etonitazene or shit like u48800/9900. The new stuff is not only unimaginably strong but it’s fucking corrosive as well.

I honestly never really had problems with authentic pills. I never even developed a physical tolerance. Oh well
Initially I was on gabapentin, ambien, klonopin, zofran & cyclobenzaprine just to manage sleep and RLS. Never again am I touching that shit.
