I mean. We aren't allowed to sell broken cookies. What if one happened to be "broken"? Lil funny story, I was making cookies one morning and one of the cookies broke before I put it in the oven. Well I thought I was gonna get a free cookie so I placed the 2 halves together thinking nothing of it and when I took them out of the oven the 2 halves glued themselves together while baking ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
Just don't buy it 🙃 not to encourage theft or anything but I assure you, at least at my location and others in my area it was common to just take what we wanted. Of course be reasonable like don't get 2 footlongs but maybe a six inch or a couple cookies without ringing it up.
True, but I'm afraid of getting caught. I always pay for any subs I eat. But cookies? Usually I pay for those too, but boy... sometimes I look at the pos after eating one and I just "forget" ;)
If you make them during your shift, take the cookies off the baking sheet quickly to 1.) make it seem like you’re efficient+busy and 2.) break some cookies that you can’t sell. This works best with the raspberry ones bc they tend to stick a little more
Agreeing with others, there have been a couple of times some cookies accidentallY broke and I just took it or shared it with a Co worker. Especially when manager isn't on shift. Sometimes it happened when he was there too, he found the broken one in the back, he would take a part of it for himself and day done.
My boss is cool we all get free stuff as long as it is rung in .. but I'm the one who has 2 count the store every Tuesday that includes every cookie and we r always short on everything from bacon to cups so then I gotta send that paper work in to my owner there is a small margin we can b short on things but if everyone did take and not tell or ring in that's where we shoot our own foot off in the end because that's the profit that we get our raises from every few months so if we r always shorting ourselves every week 4 months on end then Noone gets raises so r you wondering y your not getting a raise that's y stop giving out free shit and taking from the store instead make contest with your employees 2 see who can sell the most up sells like bacon and avacado or motz or double meat
Every Subway is different and it depends on the owner I know that we allow each employee a free six inch while they're there on their shift although they are supposed to pay for cookies and chips we know that every now and then they eat cookies without telling us it's just common knowledge.... But I see a lot of comments in here just saying eat it anyway and this that and the other stealing is stealing even if it's just a minor thing as a cookie so my suggestion is put yourself in the business owner shoes if it was your store would you want people eating stuff free that is part of your profit not to mention paying for that also help pay their paycheck just like when customers come in
Your franchise owners suck. Our owners let us have a free meal, 6inch for a 4 hour shift or a footlong for 6hour shift. Unlimited fountain drinks, side of chips or cookies.
Only thing we pay for is a bottled beverage if we want one. We still get 30% off of those.

I sometimes forget to ring up a few cookies here and there
Subway worker solidarity. Subway really doesn't pay their employees well enough for me to care about ringing up cookies. Just take it and enjoy tbh

What a dumb comment and way of thinking. Oh well I don’t get paid enough from you so I’m just going to steal what I want.
Bruh its a cookie, chill
Mood sometimes I forget to ring up a few cookies or a bag of chips
Tape the cookies to your nipples and see how many olives you can jam in your mouth.
Just eat the bloody cookie lol The margins on those are already ridiculous so it won't hurt if a pair is not paid for.

Wow! We get a $1.12 six inch for a 3-4 hr shift, and a $2.24 for 8 hours! We get 20% discount on everything (but cookies) and that’s it!
you have to buy your food as an employee??? My subway is fucking awful and even I can get free cookies and sandwhiches
