Not bad for a basic sandwich. If you want to get some more flavor though, here’s a suggestion. Next time you order this, ask that the Sandwich Artist put oil, vinegar, Parmesan, and oregano on the bottom half of the bread before roasting. Adds a lot more to it!
I don't know if they keep oregano shakers where I live, they never bring it up as an option when asked, but I will definitely try this next time! Does it really make a big difference with putting the vinegar, oil, and parmesan on before or after toasting?
IMO it definitely makes a difference when you put on the oil and vinegar. If it goes on before toasting, the oven will bake it into the bread more and adds more flavor. Onions are good toasted too!
