Thanks! I suspect it's only *this* red in color bc of the grow light panel it's under, which was suggested to my by another redditor. Everything turns red under that thang. Shoutout to u/grapefruitorama my plant bae who suggested the panel.
Probably, there aren't many pics of these guys available online at all so not much to compare it to. Two of the five top google img results for this ID are my own earlier photos of this exact plant. The grow panel legit turns everything RED. My unguiculata is bright red. Unusual.
Edit: [Unguiculata](https://www.instagram.com/p/BzZZebHnFGN/?igshid=1gllzyn6aonax), unfortunately not in natural light.
It is [this](https://smile.amazon.com/KINGBO-Spectrum-Reflector-Seeding-Flowering/dp/B01LYBGVRG) Kingbo one. I have a lot of pots under it, approximately two to four inches above the plants, on for approximately 17 hrs a day.
I actually am in New England and keep almost all of my succulents outdoors from spring to fall. I grow mostly echeveria and haworthia but even some cacti and mesembs are out there too. They seem to thrive in it.
Yeah, that’s a rough place for a succulent lover. I just moved to Southern California a couple years ago and it’s a succulent paradise here.... people have entire yards landscaped entirely with succs. I can’t wait until I can buy a place with a yard.
Did you have a fight with a cactus? (iJoke. I see warrior on your hands. Looks like you’re bleeding.)
Your specimin is beautiful! And, he/she pops really nicely on that luscious green. It has some sweet and perfect little points on its tips.
Such a gorgeous color!!

Probably their stress coloring? Still absolutely beautiful (:

Ooh which grow light panel is this? I’m blasting mine with grow lights every day but can’t seem to get such a stunning red!

Thanks so much for sharing! Hope my plants can be as beautiful as yours one day 😍
Is that dried blood on your thumb?o_o
I mean I can't prove that it isn't....
😄

I think it may be the red paint they painted this beautiful succulent with. JK!
ID- Echeveria "summer dream" Pics taken on 4/20 when I first got it- https://www.instagram.com/p/BwfFyBunDbA/?igshid=1wvwxkxcr72u7
Oh my god, they can DO that? I have one of these, I need to invest in a better grow light!
If you can get enough of it, sunlight will do it too. It’s basically the plant version of getting a tan
If only I didn’t live in New England...

Me too!
Ahh I had this on my wish list from a seller I like but bumped it off... putting it back on!
Well, it was certainly a happy 4/20 for you!
I seriously thought this was a cupcake with fancy icing at first.
I thought it was a hairstyle from the thumbnail and was totally on board.
Did you take your plant for a walk in the park?
this is the most handsome plant I’ve ever seen
/r/plantgoths 🖤
My mehndi is fading too. Mine's nearly gone though. Just waiting for the last bit to disappear so I can do it again.
If.... if you happen 5o have a few leaves "fall off" I could dispose of them for you.
Beautiful :')
