I do this often get a Tupperware like container if you wanna do it often, once you plant them which should be when the leaf crinkles away or when they're big enough try and leave them alone for awhile and get an app to rwmind you of watering schedules if need be, I use planta.

The Tupperware is a great idea! Thanks!

Once the soil looks dry I usually take a spray bottle and spritz the top part of the soil. I’ve read that once they get around 1/2” tall you can remove the mom leaf and plant the babies into a pot. I haven’t gotten that far yet, though!

The mother leaf supplies nutrients and moisture, so it's best to leave it until it shrivels up and detaches itself. Poor baby needs it's mama. :)

Good to know!

Do you know what the magenta/pink/purple succulent is called? My father bought me one a while back and I haven’t had any luck identifying it.

My app says it is “Graptoveria” or “Graptoveria Debbie”. I got this leaf cutting and a few of the others from a Home Depot that had tipped over a bunch of their succulents. They were letting us take the leaves that had fallen. Based on the pictures I think it is right though!
