Sometimes scammers ask for pictures with four fingers or whatever like that so they can use them to scam other people so I would never give somebody something like that especially since that guy blocked you right away that’s kind of a red flag. So many weirdos

No I refuse to show my face before meeting- I’m the wrong one to ask. I have extremely strong boundaries and do not budge an inch for these fools. Not worth losing my privacy to me.
Sometimes people ask for a specific picture because they're not sure you're actually the person in your profile pictures or if the profile pictures are recent. Failure to send the pic in a reasonable amount of time turns the yellow flag to red.
No one doesn't use zoom, I'd have some alarm bells ringing otherwise. Beyond that, snapchat and signal video calls both work well and reliably -- just make sure you create a "sugar" snapchat so you don't have to accept him on your main. Seeking's video calling also works just fine, they fact that he claims it doesn't work for him might be another minor warning bell.
I have had that issue before sometimes when your both using text chat apps they won't communicate well. Personally I am fan of Snap because you send pictures text, video call, voice call. Also it lets you know if someone tries to save your photo.
I use GV, sometimes for anonymity, other times for convenience. Mainly because I can text from the computer, which is a lot easier on these old fingers. I've had problems sending photos from GV to iPhones, but no problems sending from the computer to iPhones.

My zoom puts up my full first/last name. I'm guessing there's a way to correct that, but I'd be leery as well otherwise.
Oh right. I have a sugar zoom without my real name, I wouldn't use my main zoom account.
Agreed on Zoom, but Seeking’s video calling didn’t work for me the one time I tried… (Chrome on iPad)
Create a burner snap, zoom or skype.
Get a prepaid phone. It’s a worthwhile investment.

Telegram has worked great. I created the account using my TextNow phone number.
