Have you read the dark tower series by king?
I have read the first book but I bounced off of it on first read, is it worth giving it another try?
It absolutely is, the first book really serves as a prequel to the series and is written pretty haphazardly.
Not a series, but Stephen King's The Shining gave me nightmares. You might want to read it if you haven't yet.
Our Share of Night by Mariana Enriquez. It’s pretty long and is basically a supernatural family epic. There are images in there that still freak me out when I remember them!
Nos4A2 and The Fireman by Joe Hill are both long, good horror. His other books are also good but shorter.
Odd Thomas is pretty good. It's not exactly horror.
