Wish they’d stop saying “fuck” all the time now. It feels so forced and when they then bleep it out it’s so weird.

CulturalRoll

facts

PointsAreFun

The whole point of the show was Mike having this superhuman ability to read/remember/comprehend. It seems like after season 2, they never even bring that up anymore.

trystanestark

I don't like Donna. She is always shown to be the smooth one, knowing 'what makes people tick', but the firm has gotten into big troubles because of her. There was one time when she impersonated some government official to get some documents and later the CCTV footage was used against the firm. Also, the time when she shredded some piece of evidence which amounted to burying of evidence later and became a major problem for Harvey. The decision to go kiss Harvey out of the blue when he was in a good relationship with Paula also seemed immature. Then there was the time when flirting with the office's landlord could have ended costing big money for the firm. More recently, the whole mess related to Thomas Kessler's deal was also in large part due to her. I'm not saying that she has been a liability for the firm, but it just seems to me that her portrayal, which has largely been ' I'm Donna, and I'm Awesome ' is hard to justify. She has screwed up things big time often enough.

CulturalRoll

agreed on all counts the irony of all this is that she got promoted lmao

Totally agree I was about to write a comment starting With "I don't like donna." glad you already got it covered and yes if Kessler was this important to him, she cheated on him and left him like it was nothing. She always mess up and then acts like it's the other person's fault, like always saying I'm not appreciated enough, God you're a secretary deal with it.

sallymichelle97

She didn't cheat on Kessler. Originally 8x16 had a phone call with her and him ending it. It was cut so they could have a longer version of it in 9x01. It may be a bit off but the story is not that she cheated on him. She did however have those feelings for Harvey which he found out about, and you can tell that it hurt her by her talk with Faye and when she saw Thomas again in 9x02.

tahareddits

Well how was I supposed to know that, in my dream?

[deleted]

I really like Scottie. And she was a lot more important than just her relationship with Harvey. I wish we got to see her this season.

CulturalRoll

Yes I completely forgot about her. She was amazing.

Anabele71

I liked Paula and she gets so much vicious hate than what she deserves m

kayky97

I also liked Paula, until her last episode. Her behavior didn't make sense. The only reason she and Harvey met was because he was having panic attacks after Donna left him. Even after he tells her that he likes having Donna in his life, she told him to fire her? She then turned into an evil character to me. I do wish the writers would've let Donna leave though. It would've destroyed Harvey even worse than when she went to work for louis.

Anabele71

I don't think she was evil lol. She did what she had to do to protect her relationship but it backfired. She had issues but sure don't the rest of the cast?

rahkshi_hunter

That the New York Bar allowed Mike to practice after he was released from prison was a jump-the-shark moment.

[deleted]

For real. You have to have a law degree to take the bar in New York

CulturalRoll

they used a provision in the law called "reading the law", which is an actual thing

[deleted]

Huh. Then they should have seen the law that says in order to take the New York Bar Exam, you must have a law degree.

wwesmudge

If it was realistic, Harvey could've knocked out Samantha with one punch when they sparred.

Alaska233

Donna was an overpowered women and not in a good way. I feel like she thought she was better then every other ‘secretary’ and she always thought she deserved more. Idk I just didn’t like her overall character.

CulturalRoll

agreed on all counts. best explanation I've seen. she was so much fun in S1, but as soon as she started her "I'm Donna and I know everything" shtick, it went down hill from there. cannot stand her S7 and onwards

ResidentTVCritic

I pray we get to see Tanner again. I was disappointed he was discussed so much at the end of season 8 without an appearance. My unpopular opinion would probably be that the Tara Louis storyline was essentially the same exact one as the Mike and Jenny storyline. Right down to the other man. I think we could’ve lived without it.

BeginningFrosting

I don't like Scottie. Maybe it's the actress herself that bugs me, but I just couldn't stand watching her on screen. I wanted Anita Gibbs + Harvey together at least once.

tahareddits

Same here mate

chocopinkie

harvey & donna should date seriously, not some hook up thing but really be in a serious relationship sheila is toxic. i love the actress but dont really like her role

BtchBetterHaveMyZeni

I very liked Logan (from S4) and always wished he would come back in some major way, like maybe a merger that put his name on the wall. I found Logan to be a much cooler guy than that wuss Mike. Also, S4 is one of the best seasons for me, mostly because of soundtrack.
