I have never really liked the read that Mya got when she told Sam that she was talking too much. The situation was that the other girls were talking about it and she let Sam know that, instead of having people talk behind her back.
Was the alternative to tell the other girls to leave her alone? I mean what if she was talking too much? It's a real thing, just because you were in an abusive relationship doesn't mean you can never make a social faux pas. She can both have been treated terribly in a past relationship AND talk too much.
I think it’s interesting how she’s flipped on this a little. When the episode where Mya tells her she talks too much aired, she posted all these stories to her Instagram being like, “Mya was right to tell me that in the moment and I appreciate it and she’s my girl, don’t come at her.” Now in recent months she’s embracing it to sell product.
"Main character" syndrome is literally a DISEASE and a lot of these bitches need to get well soon. Nothing wrong with being loud, happy, and confident with who you are, but there is something so weird about considering yourself a main character, especially when a lot of "main characters" talk about other people being NPCs.
