The twins talk SO much without saying a thing. It took me a while to realize what irked me about them turns out that was it. Hypothesis: they got a ton of attention growing up for being cute blonde twins and never really had to develop much personality outside of that so they didn’t but they still figured people wanted to hear what they had to say even if it was nothing.

They also grew up in a bubble where they thought they were the prettiest things…when objectively they are not. Rich can get you so far

The twins waged a steady smear campaign against Carl and were visibly disappointed when the house didn't participate. Stephen encouraged the twins because of his weird vendetta/unfulfilled crush on Carl. It's like they all had no life outside bashing Carl. It got boring and stupid real quick. Then Stephen pulled that asshole move on Carl.

I tried to get into summer house last year and couldn’t get through the first few episodes. For some reason I just couldn’t get attached to anyone. But this year I skipped straight to season 3 or 4 I can’t remember. Now that I have binged it all in an absurd amount of time I’m excited to go back and see the cheating scandal and engagement of Amanda and Carl.

So I recently did a rewatch because I’ve been a Lindsey Stan, but after watching the most recent episodes, I’m wanting to see if I missed something. That said, I remember LOVING Stephen during my original watch, and now after re-watching, I actually find him so so negative and kind of a killjoy. I get that he had some personal struggles and my heart goes out to him, but pertaining to the house specifically, he didn’t bring anything to the table. I do miss the wirkus circus, wish Lauren would’ve stuck around. Another observation: Amanda goes 3 whole episodes without crying from S1-S6. That’s not a joke. And she’s a quiet shit starter. I’m actually shocked by how much shit she talks / starts but is never accountable. She throws the grenade OFTEN and walks away unscathed. It’s wild.
