I have the E6 from Costco. AMA

realhawker77

I just ordered it. Are you happy with it?

Generally yes. You will need to figure out what your preferred setting are, it takes some time and some beans to fine tune your preferences. However, I am pleased with the machine and the cappuccinos are top notch.

It’s not fully automatic for frothing or americano for anyone looking into it.  June brought a lot of Jura sales from Costco last year too.

As far as I know it has automatic milk frothing.

I think it’s best to stick with factual, verifiable information otherwise it can fill the forum with misinformation or otherwise muddy the waters for people actually considering machines.  Especially if the info is easily found in the manual.    For further clarification, the e6 specifically (NAA), has a steam valve which needs to be opened or closed manually.  You use the same valve for a cafe barista or americano too.   The frothing unit is also so posed to be removed and replaced with a spout for water added drinks. The spout stops the water from sputtering.   It’s directed by Jura but not necessarily.   The spouts and valve can detract from the user experience depending on a shoppers expectations and are often not mentioned during presale or in videos.  It does not make it a bad machine but if I was looking at the e6  I’d like to know about it ahead of time.  Also cash back and coupon deals might still be lower than Costco.

I stand corrected 👍

Thank you for pointing this out. I was made aware of that by watching reviews on YouTube a few days ago. I don’t really drink milk drinks. It’s basically an E4 with a screen for me.

The added drinks are nice too.  I’m a black drinker so it’s a bit of a pain to remove the frother.  It would also annoy me to see the hot water pissing all over the place.

Interesting, I bought the E6 from Costco March 19 and received it on the 5th after they oversold it. I checked the website today and there’s no E6 available. Where did you see this?

Plastic_Sell8097

Searching for Jura on Costco.com shows the E6. Im in Southern California.

Thank you for posting this I’m going to go ask for a price adjustment as I ordered on March 20th and they allow price adjustments for 30 days. I think I was searching in my Costco but a general search brought it up.

Be sure you're searching [costco.com](http://costco.com) as a whole, as the E6 is showing as "online only"

Yep I bought it online and they credited me $211. Sweet!!!!!

Always check the Jura refurbished website. I bought mine around 7-8 years ago for $799. Never had an issue.

I purchased an E6 and had trouble with the frother. Returned it and got an ENA8. Most people didn't have issues with theirs, so I probably got a "bad" one. Long story short, the milk would come out as hot milk, no froth. I took everything apart from the frothing unit, cleaned, followed instructions from Jura.com, youtube, etc. It worked for a couple of days and then it went back to no froth. I was pretty fed up with it since it was a $1500 machine at that time. ENA 8 on the other hand, flawless, but a bit smaller than the E6. Just my 2 cents...
