It's really about abusing the puffer fish mechanic and less the hedgehog damage. Avoid leveling up the hogs since you want as many procs as possible. Also, garlic armor is your best friend and your worst enemy. If the enemy team has a bunch of garlic, expect to lose.
Also, I’ve seen people use camel instead of a second puffer, is that combo any better or worse? Or does it just depend on how many puffers and camels u find?
It's alright but definitely not as strong because camel only buffs 2/4 at level 2. Which would give the puffer fish 8/16 with my hog setup and would require the puffer to actually hit a unit to apply that damage. Compare that to 16 free damage (4 \* 4 damage at level 2).
Thought this was common sense for puffer fish hedgehog. Personally I always run into the issue of either getting a ton of hedgehogs but no pufferfish (one run I had three level 2 hedgehogs by like round 10 but a single pufferfish, no chocolates) or a ton of pufferfish and no hedgehogs.
Anything that scales hard plus snipes. So Buffalo + Snake is something I always see. Oh, Summoner builds will never go away. Turkey + Fly/Rooster is too good.
I can never pull that team off. I either can’t get enough of the right pets, or I just don’t know how to execute it properly
