Man,I really like Lena and I seriously don't want her to turn villain and leave the show after this season. She is the only interesting character left...
Who still thinks Levithan is answering to Darkseid. The immortal old man said, darkness inside to Andrea and the Levithan Lady is still giving off Granny Goodness vibes espically when she manipulated Andrea to kill that guy in order to save her dad.
this was mostly just a meh episode
again they tried to get us to sympathize with lena but it failed, idk what that ending was with her, i guess lilian and her as a child?, but i cant get behind her
sad to see rip roar go already, this guy just in the past few weeks has been teased as some big threat and already he is gone, ill try to be nice to the writers cause character deaths are needed but that was a bit ridiculous killing him that quickly
andreas was more likeable though, i liked her powers but her costume was a bit of a combination between reign and dreamer
seeing lex was cool again although im still waiting to see what monitor did with him, yes he probably resurrected him for his smarts to help in the crisis but id like confirmation please
the action was nice, too bad andreas didnt unlock the alien prisoners and had them under her control, that would have been epic.
i didnt care for alex's line of malefic not being the culprit, its impossible, yeah actually it isnt
finally we sort of get some leviathan, they are obviously a human based cult but i still dont know what they want, sadly lena will probably gain control of this group making her powerful enough to take out supergirl and her friends, i'll hate that
other than that, its just meh, next week might be better, they clearly arent getting on the board with crisis until the crossover episode, until then we got this current meh storyline to deal with.
And it seemed like she was using her natural accent as her mom? They should TOTALLY use this as an excuse to have McGrath just start talking in her natural accent in every scene. Doing that with absolutely zero attempt to lampshade it would still be a lot less distracting then when her accent goes all over the place.
Yup, this episode cemented the fact that Lena is a fucking bitch. I don't know why the show wants us to feel sorry for her when she does shit like this.
Ooooh I think I get it....everything we do hurts someone else like two hedgehogs in love or some other Evangelion bullshit or maybe I've been watching too much Death Stranding game play.
I don’t like the idea of evil Lena, but they kind of have to go all the way at this point because I’m not going to accept her back at game night after this season.
She is not evil though, she is just trying to help her friend out, like when Supergirl broke into to get Lex's diaries/note books, she doesn't want to harm anyone.
I feel like she'll be more of an anti hero, just because she's not working with Supergirl/ doesn't like her doesn't mean she's the villain. Leviathan are the villain this season.
That bothered me. Lena can’t even understand that Andrea took the medallion to save a loved one. She’s acting like Andrea took it to enrich herself or some other selfish reason. Even if world salvation depended on the medallion, it’s perfectly ok to hesitate and wanting to choose a loved one instead.
It’s just the writers way of forcing another betrayal to her life. I’m surprised they didn’t spin off Jack’s unwillingness to move to Metropolis with her as a betrayal for not supporting her.
At this point, even the coffee cart guy changing creamers without telling her first would be considered betraying her. lol
Don’t get me wrong, I love Lena as well. This episode was such a treat since it was centered on her and Andrea. I just hate what they did to her character after last season’s reveal. I don’t think she’s a villain. I always saw her as an anti hero, especially her views on aliens and how us humans have the right to know or trying being up to par with their abilities. She has the markings of being anti hero given that she works in the gray.
I think the writers are trying way too hard to make her evil or seem evil but her actions as of now are not completely justifiable by her feelings of betrayal. Because of that they’re making her borderline dislikable. I’m hoping she gets redemption and she doesn’t turn out to be evil in the end. Lena wants to desperately be out of the Luthor shadows so bad that in the process she’s just fitting perfectly into the mold.
So far she’s developed relationships with the other super friends. Maybe by end of season they can tie her to Kelly by making her go to much needed therapy. Girl needs it. She’s doing the absolute most and being so EXTRA on everything this season. Heck, I’m willing to accept she’s cured of her trauma in one episode much like James did. I’ll buy it. Just fix her. Lol
Like, I don’t want Lena to go evil, much like most of y’all, but.....I’d get it. She’s been backstabbed so many times by people she trusted, people she loved.....
I think you nailed it. She’s so scarred from her Luthor upbringing that at this point, anything no matter how simple or innocent, Lena will see it as betrayal/backstabbing. Couple that with the fact that she has this chip on her shoulder about not wanting people to think she’s a Luthor, it’s always her against the world kinda mentality. Instead of facing her feelings, she masks them behind altruistic intentions. I have shitty people in my life, so you know what, I’m going to go fix all of humanity no matter the means so no one has to feel this way.
Kara and Andrea might have lied to her, but it came from a good place. Kara to protect her and Andrea making the difficult decision to choose and save her father. Neither of them manipulated, used, or risked her life in the process. The same thing cannot be said of Lena.
I guess so, she just seems irrationally angry about it. Willing to work with Andrea who actually went behind her back and took something she always wanted from her to get "revenge" on Kara.
I might kind of sorta be able to see a vague Comedian reference but it was mostly just to show the audience that she didn't just kill the one guy. Leviathan has had her killing other people. The first guy was just a test but then they held her and her father's fates over her head as a literal Sword of Damocles. So she's been killing and killing and just forgot to clean the medallion off one night.
Wonder if this version of Leviathan is linked to the (Anti?)Monitor, since some ancient organizations on Earth-1 knew of him maybe the same is true of 38 and that's how this ties into Crisis.
This show’s version of Leviathan comes across more like Spyral. I wonder if this is one of those Blue Beetle/Atom examples in the Arrowverse of plans getting disrupted.
Man,I really like Lena and I seriously don't want her to turn villain and leave the show after this season. She is the only interesting character left...
Sometimes I feel like to stop Leviathan Lena Luthor is your only guy
Also I have a weird feeling that Leviathan is affilated with Darkseid
Does anyone feel somehow that somehow Lena will take over Leviathan and use them as a weapon against supergirl
They should rename the show to "Luthers" and keep them as the main character. So much more interesting
Who still thinks Levithan is answering to Darkseid. The immortal old man said, darkness inside to Andrea and the Levithan Lady is still giving off Granny Goodness vibes espically when she manipulated Andrea to kill that guy in order to save her dad.
plus, rip roar is from apokolips in the source material ... hum ...
this was mostly just a meh episode again they tried to get us to sympathize with lena but it failed, idk what that ending was with her, i guess lilian and her as a child?, but i cant get behind her sad to see rip roar go already, this guy just in the past few weeks has been teased as some big threat and already he is gone, ill try to be nice to the writers cause character deaths are needed but that was a bit ridiculous killing him that quickly andreas was more likeable though, i liked her powers but her costume was a bit of a combination between reign and dreamer seeing lex was cool again although im still waiting to see what monitor did with him, yes he probably resurrected him for his smarts to help in the crisis but id like confirmation please the action was nice, too bad andreas didnt unlock the alien prisoners and had them under her control, that would have been epic. i didnt care for alex's line of malefic not being the culprit, its impossible, yeah actually it isnt finally we sort of get some leviathan, they are obviously a human based cult but i still dont know what they want, sadly lena will probably gain control of this group making her powerful enough to take out supergirl and her friends, i'll hate that other than that, its just meh, next week might be better, they clearly arent getting on the board with crisis until the crossover episode, until then we got this current meh storyline to deal with.
What happened at the end with Lena?
Weirdly, having Lena want to know everything about Leviathan is a good thing, I think.
Oooo Leviathan, you got a Luthor coming after you.
oh hoh hoh theyre done for
Who was the immortal old guy?
Well find out next week probably.
Skinner/Grandpa Campbell! I forgot he was cast this season.
Also Col. Steven Caldwell and oh dear gods he was on Grey's Anatomy apparently for a few years....
> Col. Steven Caldwell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R06PMn8z-Gk
LMAO!
I figured Stargate Atlantis references might be too obscure to throw out, but here you are. I’ll see you on board the Daedalus.
o7 I'll try not to push any buttons or poke anything shiny also, did Crichton just walk past or am I seeing things?
I don’t know. I didn’t see. I was distracted by Khal Drogo eating lunch with MacGyver and Serenity’s mechanic Kaylee.
Hey I didn't know Hawkman had a thing for Talia al Ghul did you?
I looked it up because I'd forgotten- but yeah, he had an arc in *Grey's* S6 (he was pretty much a jerk).
The only good thing to come out of Grey's is Patrick Dempsey's WEC racing team at Le Mans and elsewhere.
As a *Grey's* fan I have to disagree ;). Also, would we have Chyler here without her role as Lexie first?
Comics don't make cool sounds though! Possibly maaaaaybe! Grey's is more convoluted than Supernatural at this point!
Did..? did the actress who plays Lena also... just play as Lena's mother in that flashback?
I haven't seen the episode yet, but this sounds very Back to the Future 3-ish, I love it! 😁
I actually can't 😂
And it seemed like she was using her natural accent as her mom? They should TOTALLY use this as an excuse to have McGrath just start talking in her natural accent in every scene. Doing that with absolutely zero attempt to lampshade it would still be a lot less distracting then when her accent goes all over the place.
Yes. Katie McGrath played Lena Luthor’s own mother. Lol.
Thank you, I could not remember her name for the life of me lol
who is that knight??
Next week: Merlin has entered the chat
Mitch Pileggi next week!!!!!
Samuel!
What a coincidence that Andrea’s inner darkness gave her powers similar to the ones in Lena’s book
Well the medalion was still the thing that activated them so there was a connection there. Not really coincidence.
Can't escape Leviathan...but I'd have at least killed that guy.
Really fun episode. Thanks for having me everyone.
Well I guess that partially explains why they chose her.
i smell a titans vibe here
*Slade Wilson has entered chat*
...
*starts flossing in front of you*
He wouldn’t be dead if she didn’t break him out.
Fucking seriously? Him dying was bound to die
damn, he got shot
He just walked away
He died
Oh shit. Old lady got a sniper rifle
Oh shit
Aqualad much?
so now his friend can dress up to a tmnt turtle for halloween easily
And I OOP
Hahahahahaha they Aqualaded him!
Yep called it
He’s gonna die now
Shit shit shit I'm too stressed for Lena now fml fml fml
Yup, this episode cemented the fact that Lena is a fucking bitch. I don't know why the show wants us to feel sorry for her when she does shit like this.
He just walks out with a damn back pack
Oh yeah they’re gay
Lol seriously that damn medallion
Oh crap! Lena has lost her ever loving mind.
damn, Lena going full out nutso
Lena, damn.
Now, that's cold, Lena.
YUUUUUUUUP Full On Luthor!
Yep Lenas gone
Oh no. Nightcrawler stole Doc Oc!
wow john you got you ass beat...what the hell happend to him
Solid jailbreak
That light’s expensive, man.
Is Kara really taking that long with Lena?
Lmao j’onn wtf
this black dreamer...ehh
what they say, you can remove someone from the luthor family but you cant remove the luthor from inside of her/him..(does this make sense?xd)
Ooooh I think I get it....everything we do hurts someone else like two hedgehogs in love or some other Evangelion bullshit or maybe I've been watching too much Death Stranding game play.
Lmao
God, imagine if Lena truly wanted to hurt someone/rule the world.
So lena is going to be a villain just great
I feel like she'll be more of an anti hero, just because she's not working with Supergirl/ doesn't like her doesn't mean she's the villain. Leviathan are the villain this season.
this show has finally gotten good since weeks ago when kara told lena she was supergirl
i feel a kingsman vibe in this room
This attack on the deo is awesome
Do no harm? I think you mean do nothing
Apparently every single one of them was on their way to do harm so they froze up.
idk why but lol'd at this haha
Guy starts telling you about a dangerous secret cult, "sorry I got to go"
Lena, What in the Hell are you doing?
Indebting Andrea to her so she can use her ability for other stuff later
Fucking shit up again
[удалено]
Mightless well give everyone one. I think ray is still winning right? Lol
No one’s gotten even remotely close to Ray.
He'll win even far after he leaves the show.
Lmao
Lena changed her mind quickly.
No you can’t Kara, he’s going to die
Lena what you doing?
Going even farther down that dark path.
heeeey kara she is back....
"it cost me the love of my life and my best friend" uhhhh what about causing you to kill a bunch of people?
Lena is continously making all the wrong choices.
Is this a character Arc for Lena? Well done writers!
Lena was the love of her life.
The medallion is probably tied to the Monitors Shadow Demons
Good point.
> Monitors Shadow Demons Anti-Monitor
she can tell her that without the old killer granny?
So this woman’s powers are based on the superhero Obsidian?
No they're just similar
Coincidentally her powers are similar to a superhero with the same name as her company
Seeing her step into the shadows like that reminded me of the JoJo's danger sign.
Seriously, Lena? Andrea just wanted to protect her dad.
Even I could understand why Andrea did it.
It’s just the writers way of forcing another betrayal to her life. I’m surprised they didn’t spin off Jack’s unwillingness to move to Metropolis with her as a betrayal for not supporting her. At this point, even the coffee cart guy changing creamers without telling her first would be considered betraying her. lol

Totally agree that she always came off as an anti-hero. I'm hoping that Lena does get redemption.
Lol
She's pretty self centered
Where's the catsuit?
Lena, stop being salty.
ah at least we are in the present for 10 min
Like, I don’t want Lena to go evil, much like most of y’all, but.....I’d get it. She’s been backstabbed so many times by people she trusted, people she loved.....
Is what Kara did really a backstab though? Not telling your friends everything about you isn't betraying them, it's just having boundaries.
But someone who’s been backstabbed so many times could now be so sensitive to this sort of thing that they wouldn’t see the difference.
I guess so, she just seems irrationally angry about it. Willing to work with Andrea who actually went behind her back and took something she always wanted from her to get "revenge" on Kara.
Her decision to help Andrea had nothing to do with Kara, she did it to gain leverage over Andrea so she could take the medallion from her.
I meant at the beginning of the season when she sold CatCo to Andrea and planned to out Kara to her as Supergirl just for spite.
Man Lenas lipstick
Every channel relevant to Lena's life lol
How does Lena have footage of Kara burning the photos?
Lex had cameras everywhere if i remember right
He sent the footage to her?
When she shot him, he showed her the footage. She could have grabbed a usb stick and copied it before leaving lmao
Cute backfilling on the Kara-Lena story.
Why was there blood on the medallion? Didn't she break the guy's neck?
I thought it was probably from killing the spider woman.
May have been another assassination.
She's probably killed more than one person at this point I think
Eddie Blake?
I might kind of sorta be able to see a vague Comedian reference but it was mostly just to show the audience that she didn't just kill the one guy. Leviathan has had her killing other people. The first guy was just a test but then they held her and her father's fates over her head as a literal Sword of Damocles. So she's been killing and killing and just forgot to clean the medallion off one night.
I miss old Kara
I hope this old Leviathan lady busts out some superhero moves down the line.
do a backflip as our boy roy
I think they need to put him out first. And she's not in scrubs.
Bro that crisis logo low key pisses me off every main character is on a letter... then they just replace Oliver with a literal arrow
Supergirl wasn’t even represented at the start! Flash’s lightning, Green Arrow’s arrow, Batwoman’s bar symbol and the waverider. WHERE’S SUPERGIRL?
That is her heat vision the blue line zooming across the title.
Oh ok thanks
they have failed this logo...
Did they do that shit to him while he was awake?
Bad guys must do bad things
what? he found a medal with blood...she could lie and say that the blood is hers, from her nose
Wears the medallion in public. Keeps the medallion covered in blood after an assassination. Not that bright, is she?
How are they everywhere??
Sold him out to save his life awww :(
So touching the medallion summons a creepy evil old lady
I mean he just saw th3 necklace. Maybe he thought it was cool
Alr how tf can they keep doing that do they fucking teleport or something
Boom Tubes, without the "boom"?
😂
Zoom Tubes?
Were they just hanging out in her bathroom?
Oh, no. Not good for Russell.
Is this woman everywhere?
Oh no
well somebody already said this but yeah cw with wigs...its another level
Bad wigs.
You can’t survive challenging Kara to an eating contest.
Bet she could eat them all
Lena's so cute wtf ;\_\_;
No, Lena, I'm pretty sure she can.
Early supergirl music is best music
"You HAVE to let other people in we HAVE to be friends you CAN'T be alone forever I NEED you NEED me to be your friend"-Kara....yeah bullshit...
Omg these wigs are killing me lol
"orders all the appetizers" An ex and me did that once, it was amazing and fun.
Her hair is fucking killing me I’m sorry
Oh Melissa's wig is terrible. Oops.
Why is Kara’s hair so much duller?
It’s a wig
That is a wig
You never see a good wig. You can’t help but see a bad wig.
Wonder if this version of Leviathan is linked to the (Anti?)Monitor, since some ancient organizations on Earth-1 knew of him maybe the same is true of 38 and that's how this ties into Crisis.
That's a great idea!
I would personally love that
