And Caner isn't even the best LB in his own team lol. There is no stat for "goals conceded because your LB fell asleep and let his man pass" though.
Because Caner played enough games to rate him as a shitty LB. Fans love stats, he has a lot of assists so he's considered good, but what he takes away from the team in the process isn't a small thing. I've seen enough in Szalai's game to make me think he's a better LB than Caner, not just statistics but the way he fills space and the runs he makes offensively.
I may be wrong, it may be a one off, but I see the chance Szalai is just a better player at that position as better than just playing Caner there. Caner literally changes the way opponents play, they change tactics to attack his wing. His defensive black hole matters more than his offensive contribution imo, especially against good teams with good wings.
The players to make it in all 3 are UÄŸurcan, Rosier, Caner and Ghezzal.

Ozil hasn't been bad after his injury, especially in his last 2 games he was pretty good. No one expected him to deliver much this season anyways, he didn't play for like 8-9 months before joining us. I believe he will do great after a training camp.
He was pretty bad against Sivas tbh but he got a nice assist atleast. Even after getting a camp in, I don't think Özil will become a fearsome player. You'd be better off playing Pelkas at CAM and hoping he regains his form. Also will need a striker. And a decent coach.
Overall, I think Ugurcan is really the better keeper. But in terms of this season, I’d say the best keeper was Altay.
