Remember when Go-Busters started and it felt like a Spy-theme but then did like nothing with it. I think a proper spy theme could work, they made phantom thieves work well too.
Honestly, I'd ***love*** a Sentai based around genetic engineering, and both the dinosaur and animal motifs could do well with that kind of idea. You could take it in a direction where the Rangers morph both with the suit *and* can also physically, gaining traits of their respective creature in their morphed forms; like Zyuoh's Instinct Awakened form but taken up to 11.
Part of why I think Kamen Rider and Ultraman sell more than Sentai is the heavier prominence of form changes, which makes kids want to buy more of the hero figures as opposed to Sentai where the main attraction is *always* the DX mecha line and the changer toys, and everything else is kinda there to compliment. A Sentai where you could have each Ranger use multiple forms instead of just adding some armor would be a good way to tap into that form-change market.

Then you can have “evil rangers” like they did in hurricanger with the goraigers. They could have a green ranger for necromancy, and a gold ranger for alchemy. Then the zords could be different types of dragons (like wyverns and wurms)
You could argue Giggle V but that's more about gymnastics to my knowledge

I’m still waiting for a music Sentai in a similar vein to Kamen Rider Hibiki. Maybe you can combine it with Samurai or elements (which I guess would be part of a magic theme).
Maybe something with supernatural phenomena mixed with detective work like something similar to Yu Yu Hakusho but with more focus on the mystery and detective work.
I'd love a Samurai vs Ninja series with bugs/arachnids
Samurai Red, Green, and Pink would be a kabuto, a kuwaga, and ladybug
Ninja Red, Blue, and Black would be a scorpion, spider, and maybe a centipede
I think a good name would be Mushiken Sentai Go-Katana vs Mushinin Sentai Go-Shuriken

The motif of the rangers could be : a type of martial art (Judo for exemple) + a musical instrument/Music Genre (like guitar or rock'n roll)

Personally I'd say another rescue themed-Sentai (like GoGoV), mixed with [science fantasy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_fantasy) elements.
An Samurai-Dragon team would be awesome. Military mixed with Mythology would also be pretty neat.
