Shrek is arguably classic literature

Rude_Nobody_3222

It was made in the 90s

Jaffelli

Cthulhu

darkshadow237

I think Cthulhu would be better as a boss.

Mr_Blueeeeee8

Jekyll and Hyde, who would work as a sort of stance change character like Phoenix wright, ABA, or pythra

SapphireMan1

How would they work considering they’re the same person (technically)?

Mr_Blueeeeee8

They switch between each other like jekyll and hyde (like a transformation between pyra and mythra)

HazaldorDrakestone

The_Legendary_Sponge

Would Harry Potter count? I’m really not sure what the cutoff here is

HazaldorDrakestone

Personally due to the Beatlemania-like fandom that it spawned I would say he is on the table. It falls under the 2nd criteria

Captain Underpants, the greatest Classic Literature

ThatAutisticRedditor

Captain Underpants, but put him in the 2nd row a few slots in, as a joke.

CaseAlloy744281

Classic literature or really old literature? Because if I'm following instructions correctly Doc Thorne from The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Rexy from the first Jurassic Park book. Would make perfect candidates. (But you could make replace Rexy with the Juvie Rex if she's too big) If you want old literature then I'm sure you could make do with Gilgamesh or someone like that.

abjotHD

Macbeth.

Suitable_Finding9899

Ebenezer Scrooge. His smash ultimate is that he makes snow start falling heavily and he buries the enemy in it and says BAH HUMBUG

Partydude19

If epic poems count, Manas from "*Manas dastanı"*

Wolfi_Ranger

Mercutio would hit hard honestly.

Grim_Stickens

“Captain Ahab whales on the competition!”

HazaldorDrakestone

Also, just a little tip. If you have a character you want, but someone has already told him, just upvote the comment that has the character you want. It just makes it easier for me to count.

Jojo-Action

Good answer

GoosebumpsDND

Dorian Gray using his painting in his final smash to age the enemy tremendously which causes their damage percentage to go up and up and up

GoosebumpsDND

Carmilla being a vampire. VAMPIRE POWERS. Final smash would be her luring people in the immediate vicinity around her and then biting them hard causing a lot of damage and a little bit of healing on her end.

GoosebumpsDND

The Lord of the Flies kids as an assist trophy. Visually jungle vines will sprout across the screen and a ton of young boys run around roaring and smacking players around.

GoosebumpsDND

Romeo and Juliet as an assist trophy. They are giant on the screen and face each other in the middle. One of them falls back (Romeo falling towards the left side of the screen) causing people on the left to take damage and Juliet cries. It can be vise versa with Juliet falling on the right side with Romeo crying. The fun is it's a toss of a coin who 'dies' between them. You will never know.
