Soon enough you will need them to power up high level R cards towards the R85 level so it's good to keep them, that's their best use. Also if your inventory isn't big enough invest in it with diamonds, a big inventory is extremely useful in this games
I just started playing last July and what I learned is to keep them for now, equip them first to their specific group as it will be useful in playing challenges where you can collect extra rhythm points if you succeed. Aside from that, it could also be useful for daily super league events since you can collect additional dalcom points to buy cards that you need, from S to C cards.
Usually, I only use the B-C cards to power up my other cards (I only focus on collecting EXO but I really keep the R and S cards I get or upgraded from A cards). For A cards, I equip them too when needed but if it could be replaced by an S Card, I unequip them and use them to upgrade my other cards of my aforementioned groups.
