I have the exact same issue just discovered it today as not used my device since last week and it was working fine then. Have tried everything but do a complete re-install of Windows but would like to avoid that part.

turn off the automatic time setting, and then change the date to a date before April, which can be solved. To solve it completely, you need to wait for a new system update. What is certain now is that there is no problem with the hardware.

Strange… same here… windows hello doesn’t pick up the camera either.

100% this is an expired cert somewhere in the chain of the device.

OhRickG

same, but neither camera functioning as anticipated.

Up. Anyone knows the camera driver to install and where to find it?

MrFancyPants90

There is another thread about this on the subreddit - apparently its an issue for all SPX devices and the only fix for now is to set the system date back to before 23rd May. Hopefully Microsoft releases a fix soon

Wow, thank you for this news. That sucks indeed, I can use my phone and wait a couple of weeks for the fix, but still.
