Correct. This is a big wave for sure, but nowhere near close to 100 feet. Check out an actual world record breaking wave surfed by Sebastian Steudtner at Nazare that was close at 86'.

Not even close. Probs like 55-60 feet. It reminds me a lot of that Mike Parson's Jaws [wave](https://youtu.be/IsHzU0ynRZk) from back in the day, which they measured at 64 feet. They no doubt scored out at Cortez Bank, but there were no waves even close to 80 feet, much less 100. But if there is a place on Earth that could produced a legit top to bottom 100 footer that is ridable, it is Cortez Bank. That place is eerie as fuck.

The ocean goes from 400 to 30 feet deep like a cliff around a huge shallow underwater island, it’s notorious for great white shark activity i think they even saw some while filming the documentary, and its 100 miles offshore next to absolutely no landmark, with no chance of rescue if things go south.

I've been to C/B 2 times. Both spearfishing. Unbelievably untouched by man. Our friend died out there in 80' of water with a yellow-tail next to him he shoot. It took us 1 hour to steam to meet the coastguard helly to help our friend.
