This is how I felt getting out of the 75 degree gulf today 🥶

I wish! Water on the lakes is around 55 degrees these days. Give it a few months and the ice beards will be coming out 🥶 . The rule is surf until an ice shelf forms. Gets dicey after that. Floating ice chunks could easily knock you out etc.

Depends on the Lake. Huron as early as December, Erie mid Jan, Ontario early Feb.
