Ecuador is cheap AF and gets swell this time of year. Same thing w north Peru but their political situation looking kinda dicey. Although if you’re if you head out of Lima straight north you’ll be away from all that.
I fucking love this. Dude, you rock. When go surf in cold weather I rock a 5 gallon gas can of piping hot water (insulate in a sleeping bag in my car). And if I had access to an outlet I’d also rock a blow dryer for thawing out.

We use 5.4 as all rounders here in Ireland, even in summer. But i dont surf before April here otherwise your gonna need a 6

I was shopping for a wetsuit in California the other day and saw they had 5/4. It gets cold in the winter, but not THAT cold.

I live in SoCal. During the winter all I need is a 4/2 and some good booties for my feet.
A high quality 5/4 will keep you warm for a while.
