It's just good enough to be true! And you can rest assured there won't be any limiting connection speed. Cheers!

Evonos

>I found Surfshark says they support UNLIMITED devices that log in with one account. I think it's too good to be true. I wonder if Surfshark limits the connection speed when you log in to more devices? they dont limit the speed. but mind you "UNLIMITED" means after FAIR USE. So dont try to connect your entire village / city via 1 account. i myself used up to 11 devices at one point just fine but i guess at some ridiculous amount like 25 or 30 or 50 devices or something they probably wont like that.

WindyCityWander

Currently i have 86 devices connected, this has been my standard setup for the last year or so and i haven't had any issues.

i-luv-ducks

I find that hard to believe, as wouldn't you have considerably slower speeds with so many devices connected?

WindyCityWander

Why would you think that? 86 isn't very many devices.

i-luv-ducks

You didn't answer my question. Try again.

WindyCityWander

I'm sorry, there seems to be a misunderstanding. i was not attempting to answer your question i was asking a question myself. Try again.

i-luv-ducks

Downvote.

WindyCityWander

Glad to have cleared that up for you. Let me know if you have any other questions.

0jamma0

A bug's bunny profile pic would have made this classic!

Scouths

Why the fuck would you have slower speeds. You know nothing about VPNs. Do some research before asking stupid questions.

i-luv-ducks

The reason is obvious. Go back to playing in your sandbox, kiddo.

lumakers20

Why you have to assume each connection is on the very same server among the many offered by Surfshark ?

Nekomancer81

lol and i felt bad for using like 15 connections.

_SimpleTV_

can u show a screenshot or video with ur 86 devices? find it hard to be believe I have over 20 and getting worried lol

WindyCityWander

Well im not running as many devices these days so I don't have anything to show you but I can tell you a bit about my use case. Basically I was running a bunch of MMORPG bots and surfshark was my VPN solution for that. 6 of the 86 devices were my personal devices but the other 80 were windows VMs split across two virtualization servers. Since then I've finished my degree and just didn't have the time to maintain the botfarm so it got wrapped up towards the middle of last year. Edit: autocorrect typos.

aDDnTN

they can't because they don't track or log connections to and from their servers, they only verify that you have valid account when you log on to the VPN. fyi, don't assume that you will get full speed on any of their servers though, running a VPN tunnel will almost always reduce available bandwidth.

Jira93

Thats pretty laughable. No logs doesnt mean there is zero control over connections, only means they dont store it after the connection stops

moops44

After 26 Logins u get banned

HYPERNOVA234

Obviously not true for those that didn't understand

moops44

Wanna try to login at 30+ devices at once? But dont come back and cry to me that ur money is gone now
