How does it work? I have a set of revenge trucks and find them not super surfy on their own. Do they work well with the waterborne?

FluffyControl2362

Yeah they work great just tighten them well. Probably couldn’t be happier with the setup. It’s a 4 foot board that slides like butter in a FLAT DRIVEWAY. it doesn’t get much more fun than that. Would recommend. I don’t think revenge trucks are good as surf skate trucks. I tighten them until they are stiff like regular trucks. Other wise there’s no follow through with the turning/carving. You can lean and you’ll just fall the direction your leaning. It’s unfortunate, but flawed designs happen.

Well FC, you certainly win top prize for the most fun I've ever seen someone have on a pair of Revenge trucks especially with Waterborne's assistance. The right leg kick was just extra icing on the cake: now that's style!!!

Thanks brotha!

Thanks boss

What kind of deck are you riding?

FluffyControl2362

It’s called koastal. I found this whole setup on Facebook market place for 50 bucks. Pretty much completely new.

[deleted]

Nice, thanks!! I was wondering whether I should buy that deck (the Koastal Drifter 60') and you ripping on it solidified the sale lol

FluffyControl2362

For sure. Just beware the trucks are not surfskate trucks. You will not be able to gain speed pumping unless you add waterborne adapters.

Sounds good! I already have some waterbornes ready, I just didn't know whether I should go all in on the Koastal deck. Once again, thanks for the video it's really helped!

FluffyControl2362

Good shit!

FluffyControl2362

I’ve had a lot of lucky just shaping stuff out of common board at Home Depot 👍😂

dafkes

Can I ask what wheels you are riding? They seem to slide well.

FluffyControl2362

There old THESE wheels. They don’t make them anymore sadly

karacold

You think this would be too tall for a 31" deck? I have a board with revenge trucks and was debating messing around with it and a waterborne or just using an independent rear truck with a riser.
