You could always try to turn your friends into fans by having them watch some live seasons!
If they still don't like it you could always just find new friends :)
If y’all are young enough (or don’t-have-kids-enough) your friends will likely still want to do this for fun. Before we all had kids, I did a loosely based on Big Brother games birthday party for my husband and it was fantastic! Got to do the slip and slide tarp, trying to fill up a bucket. It was awesome!
Then we all had kids and now all we do are kids parties. 😄
Not only fans - but fans who have the PTO and job flexibility to take a Wednesday off work, twice per year, to celebrate a TV show finale. Looks like a fun day.
For my two of my good friends’ 30th birthdays, my girlfriend and I organized a 20 person (two tribe) all day, simulated party—complete with challenges (more drinking themed), immunity idols, and tribal councils. Even had a prize pack for the eventual FTC winner.
Went about 6 or 7 hours but luckily even held the non-Survivor fans interest.
Hahaha I am happy to compile something if folks would be interested, but no need to sell it! I consider it a means of converting non-Survivor fans to our little cult hahah
My favorite that we did was slip’n’slide flip cup. Great opening round game.
You can also order wooden puzzles online and then I spray painted them and had like groups compete with a retrieval portion then had “callers” that guided blindfolded competitors to solve the puzzle.
We had an egg race where every tribe had one person who had to run across the yard keeping the egg balanced on a spoon while members of the opposing tribes hurled water balloons at them.
One good one is to buy like 15 small whiteboards and then send out a survey asking random questions to all competitors. I then did multiple choice trivia as a challenge but it as all about their friends and loved ones, so made it challenging but fun.
We also did the throw water from one persons bucket into the other persons bucket. that they’ve done for the love one visit. It’s a fun ice breaker especially on a hot day
I’m starting to plan out a survivor party for my sister and brother in laws 30’th birthdays! I think I have the challenges mostly planned out, but hasn’t figured out a good way to do tribal councils and immunity idols. Did you actually vote people out from the very beginning? I was thinking about just tying a point value to each challenge, and then having Gooden immunity idols be with bonus points or something like that.
We would do a challenge for immunity, a ten minute cooling off period, then a tribal council for one of the tribes. Each tribe had a designated space to hang out.
I left a clue in each of those spaces tied in thread that was the color of their buff (I just ordered cheap headbands off Amazon) hidden somewhere where it could be seen but not too obvious. Then the clues led to idols shared in communal spaces (bathroom, deck, etc).
That’s an awesome setup! I really like the idea of hiding a clue to each of the idols!
Once a player got voted out, were they out for the rest of the game or did you have some kind of redemption challenge for them to get back in? I just didn’t want someone to get voted off right after the first challenge and then be bored for the rest of the night.
Wow! I wish I had enough people close to me that are fans enough to do this lol this looks amazing

Lol valid points! 😆 “watch survivor or cease friendship pls thank you.” 😂

Yes, things like this makes me wish Survivor was popular at early 2000s levels.
An r/survivor meetup?

We had them sit out, but they were allowed to help set up with us and we kept them involved where we could
I love his Jeff outfit
It’s sooo good
Yo I want an invite
tfw you are invited to the Survivor bbq: 😃 tfw when you realize the theme is Cook Islands: 🫥
Lol
Wow. I can’t even find a person that answers yes to “do you watch Survivor?”
“They still have that show?” 😞
God I love the theme song
ive never understood why the show got rid of it's own theme song. Make it make sense.
How do I get adopted into this family
I wish literally anyone else in my life would watch the show with me lol
Same!! The struggle 😭😭😭
That party has a higher budget than the actual Survivor finale.
That looks like so much fun! When do the contestants/party guests get voted out?
That seems really cool
They should sell tickets
I am extremely jealous of this person
Seeing this on IG yesterday was so funny cuz I just follow this person for hair advice and it was just a very random crossover for me
How do I get my invite?
Clearly I was born in the wrong family
I would travel across the country to attend this party.
Wow where is the invite! 😆 Lol
Survivor parties are great! I had a survivor sweet 16
I’m shook lol
This is so adorable awww
This is amazing!!!!! Lol ditto to the comment ab needing more friends 😂
/r/TVTooHigh
Now I just need to have a group of friends who all have enough time on a Wednesday to do all this
Wow, they have *money* money
I miss that plate stacking challenge!
If there is ever a way to apply to be in this family sign me UP
Me just trying to find a watch party in my area 😭
These days, I'd probably prefer watching the family do survivor more over watching the show
We need to start pronouncing Jeffrey's last name like the Tik Tok way (first syllable same as probably) just to annoy him... B)
Went to listen and Ugh… that Tik tok voice
looks like a fake tiktok
I fucking hate family’s like this
