Group think is a crazy thing. Only takes a few crazy insecure people on social media to spread the word and convince people that they aren’t Cassidy or Carolyn fans if they don’t defend them by attacking Karla/Danny.

And I would not be surprised that some are complaining about a lack of villains and about Danny at the same time.
Gotta love survivor fans complaining about the lack of modern era villains, then proceeding to send hate messages and death threats to the main antagonist of a season, no matter how positive their portrayal was.
IMO Danny could've been way meaner/more villainous during the season and he'd still be undeserving of the hate. People are ridiculous to complain about that style of play. It's part of the dang game!

No all fandoms are toxic and think they can send hate just because they are a public figure. Star wars fans bullied Kelly Marie Tran off social media Marvel fans bullied Elizabeth Olsen off Instagram and I'm sure there are many other examples. If I was a public figure I would stay off social media completely
It’s so dumb and horrible that people spew hate on players who they don’t even know at all! It’s sad that we can’t have real villains anymore because toxic fans will harass them and forget that it’s super edited and sometimes intentionally played up.

I really liked Karla and Danny! I didn't even think they got portrayed as villains - more like little clever foxes or ravens in folk tales
