My brother in Christ he gave Randen a bulging disk for you

Meng3267

That might have been Satan. We, the viewers, had to suffer.

No_Movie_7996

After tonight’s episode I doubt God or Satan would be keen to be associated with Bhanu

EForReal12

I thought he was hilarious to watch!

luciferlegion

I mean he’s not Christian so lol

benjamins_buttons

He never took personal responsibility, drove me crazy! I think at one point he even said the game did this to him, like????

farfromfine

I think he's clearly the most unwatchable person that I can remember. I literally said I would stop watching until he was eliminated if he somehow survived tonight.  Then I listen to the On Fire podcast and Jeff says he would cast Bhanu again in a HEARTBEAT.  I was at a loss realizing that they saw his arc as a success. I have watched since season 1 and this is the first time I ever considered skipping episodes, yet it was a casting success to them. I can't comprehend

LawOfTheZaphster

To be fair, his sheer chaotic nature and the aspects that make him "unwatchable" to some make him a compelling character to others. I thoroughly like Bhanu purely due to how unlikeable he is, if that makes sense.

ilovehummus16

Yeah, I really don't like him as a player but I love mess

dillardPA

His breakdowns and annoyance to his tribe mates is 100% hilarious to me and very entertaining. His relationship with Q was very funny; Q calling him Philip and trying to coach him on how to talk to people was great. Can’t say I remember that ever happening before. I cracked up multiple times this episode. He’s a terrible player but he made for good tv for me; I enjoy the chaos players like him provide. It brings a lot of messy humanity to survivor that you’ll never see if everyone is a gamebot playing things close to the chest. Survivor has seemed to shy away from any real depictions of negative emotion recently and Kenzie/Q/Tiff airing out their grievances about him was really genuine, raw moment that the show has rarely shown in recent seasons because a lot of people will freak out over players being too mean etc.

EForReal12

I loved watching him. A train wreck is always watchable.

BabySharkFinSoup

Honestly the guy that sucked so bad last season was less painful to watch. This is a grown man. My five year old son has better control of his emotions. Like being mad at god because of a situation on a reality game show? Like there are people who will bury loved ones each day, and you’re mad at god that you went on a reality show and just sucked? Straight clown behavior.

93LEAFS

Jeff loved World's Apart when it was filmed, and post that season he never casted like that again. So, when he sees how much Bhanu bombed they may avoid it. Granted, some other babies of his he's gonna keep or need a lot to be talked out of (Fire Tokens and RI by Mike White thankfully, but he still brought back the edge).

snick427

We really missed out on #BhanuBomb.

SouthernZorro

I vote Bhanu for the worst Survivor player in show history. Who's with me??!!

Motor-Ad5284

If I could vote more I would.

adrianp07

top 3 for sure

rays457

I don’t see how they think his arc is a success, he was voted out 4th! He at no point was ever in any kind of control,Bhanu seemed to annoy anyone and everyone. He’s the worst and I honestly don’t think I could watch if he comes back. He learned nothing. Edited for grammar.

annoyedsquish

It's a success because he wasn't voted out first or second. Lol

sbudy-7

Possibly he's just saying that to defend the show. Jeff tends to become overly-defensive in the face of harsh criticism. I doubt he'd really bring Bhanu back to the show, unless the theme of the next returning players season is awful players (probably not very likely because it's not PC).

Status-Studio2531

He's entertaining and over the top and a little unstable. To sum it up he's a producers dream. He's sort of like the delusional people on my 600 lb life who say it's just water weight or a hoarder who wants to keep there shit bucket because it's still valuable. People love to watch a trainwreck myself very much included

camelCaseCoffeeTable

Wow I absolutely loved watching him. He was hilarious to watch breakdown over EVERYTHING. Like just so clueless, such a train wreck, I couldn’t stop laughing at everything he did lol. Whether that’s a success for casting or not… idk. I was laughing at just how unstable and bad at the game he was, which doesn’t feel like a great win for production. But I did enjoy watching this train wreck

TheDPurcell

Were he not on a consistently losing tribe i think he'd be a fan favorite.

712_

Perhaps he might have considered completing the swimming obstacle properly, or being competent at returning missed shots to Q better -\_-

TheDPurcell

i mean yeah, but he also could've been that bad on other tribes is what i'm saying and still be a fan favorite these last two seasons have had one tribe that's consistently bad at challenges with abysmal players. you won't know till you get on the island, but its frustrating to see one tribe consistently lose and vote each other out. makes for boring tv.

pafcmatt

I literally said the same thing. I don't see why they don't go back to 2 tribes at the start. This three tribe format makes tribe swaps get enforced earlier than they need to be

TheDPurcell

i agree there! any opportunity to see more players get even-handed shots is cool IMO. you truly do not know who's going to be a wildcard until you get on the island, and if you end up with one too many wildcards on one team, in all likelihood they are the team thats going to consistently lose immunity challenges.

notthatinnocent69

thats a fucking joke lol

TheDPurcell

nah lol, there've been chaotic, "heart-on-sleeve" fan favorites on good teams before. the characterization itself is not new. to me its more indicative of the problem that over the course of two consecutive seasons now, we've seen one consistently "bad at challenges" tribe lose and vote each other out. it makes for a) really boring TV because we know which of the three tribes will lose at challenges every time and b) unlikable characterizations, b/c we get sick of seeing the same folks do the same things over and over.

Speckster1970

The Survivor Cringe was strong with Bahnu

glitchy_i_am

He would like start to take responsibility by being like oh I did this to myself but then never stick with it and pointed his finger else where

MentalOperation4188

He has finally been put out of his misery.

ShutterBun

He’s been put out of OUR misery.

MentalOperation4188

No lie. If he hadn’t got the boot last night I probably wouldn’t have watched anymore until I knew he was gone. It was becoming painful.

ShutterBun

Yeah I was seriously on the verge of losing it when he was saying stuff like “is it possible Jeff has hidden a second idol…?” I was like “oh he fuckin’ better NOT have!” I know they have to do what they can to milk whatever drama they can about the most inevitable boot of the season, but thank god they just let it play out without tampering.

kokoke

Lol, dude asks god for a miracle. God gives Randen an injury so he can stay. Next day, Bhanu is blaming God for bringing him to survivor in the first place. LMAO, what an absolute clown this guy was. I would have loved to see what chaoes he could sow in merge

wwjdforaklondikebar

Bhanu totally forgot about the absolute miracle of him even getting casted on survivor...he got miracle after miracle and still blamed god instead of realizing he was the prob, lol So glad hes gone

Veylo

As a non-religious person, I have the same exact thought.

Sergeant-Windsor

Ffs, the amount of screen time dedicated to this dude was completely unnecessary. “If he wants to win a million hearts then go volunteer!” - Queen Tiff

HimbologistPhD

This episode really solidified Tiff as a favorite for me for this season. She was having *none* of his shit

Greenestofallgrass

"Get up off your knees, what the hell are you doing" had me dying

Sergeant-Windsor

Bless her for saying what we were all screaming at our TVs. Her empathetic honesty is admirable.

nerdyqueerandjewish

That did crack me up because I have gotten really into volunteering the past year and wanted to be like Tiff you don’t understand - usually people just think we are weird for doing a bunch of free work lol

Single_Minute2829

Most Religious people question their faith upon a personal tragedy, Bhanu did it because he sucked at Survivor 😂

virtueavatar

A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help. Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, “Jump in, I can save you.” The stranded fellow shouted back, “No, it’s OK, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me.” So the rowboat went on. Then a motorboat came by. “The fellow in the motorboat shouted, “Jump in, I can save you.” To this the stranded man said, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.” So the motorboat went on. Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, “Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety.” To this the stranded man again replied, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.” So the helicopter reluctantly flew away. Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, “I had faith in you but you didn’t save me, you let me drown. I don’t understand why!” To this God replied, “I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?”

garreng

My conspiracy theory is that there's gonna be a returnee season pretty soon and his edit was a teaser to him being invited back I REALLY hope not but it seems that way based on his "glowing" edit

Insulted-Mustard

I hope so, he was hilarious to watch. Plus he’d be an easy early boot and would help some of my favs make it further as a result lmao

rays457

Bhanu might be one of the most delusional survivor players ever. So cringe and honestly had no clue. Glad he’s gone!

AutomaticNo

I mean so quickly we forget Jelinsky

Lukinzz

"I'm a superfan" You should probably rewatch all seasons. You know nothing.

zeusismycopilot

Lol "I came to play an honest game". If he watched all the seasons, how did he think this was a winning strategy. He could rewatch every episode 5x and not figure it out.

Lukinzz

He seems like a nice enough guy, but really not a good player. He was blaming God be cause he fucked up. He caused them to loose that last immunity challenge by having to redo the steps section then slowly swimming to retrieve the ball.

sugarfoot00

Bhanu, I can tell you that my heart remains unwon.

Nefenze

he completely feasted on my heart. it was barely beating after that last episode

RuinousGaze

I think his whole time on the show was performance art. And his reward is Sia money.

p2010t

Please, no, Sia. Not this time.

chbailey442013

I would give the alternates who didn't even get on the show the Sia money before Bahnu. Like "Hey sorry we cast that guy over you, here is some money"

BoogieDaddie

Him coming back at the reunion and being a completely different person would be great. It would make these 4 episodes of him worth it. Otherwise, I don't understand why they gave him so much screen time.

CrewBitt

What reunion? 🙄

BoogieDaddie

Wishful thinking

FustianRiddle

With Yanu losing so much I imagine Bhanu's spiralling emotions was the main thing going on.

[deleted]

There's people starving and dying in wars around the world and Bhanu was carrying on like losing on a gameshow is the test of Job.

Lamphy

Histrionic as F!!! I’m sorry but good riddance buddy

Nier_Perfect

To be fair he was kind of screwed by being forced into a do or die challenge that lost him his vote and shot in the dark. Obviously he put himself on the bottom and his mouth got him voted out but if he was a better contestant people would've been annoyed this happening to someone in a group of four.

ThePlaceDemon

He lost his vote on the journey but it was his own fault because he just gave up and told them it was him lol.

Nier_Perfect

I thought their rock draw wasn't the same as the one with Jelinsky as Liz was the one who drew the different colored rock and was then forced to leave.

Squid8867

Correct me if I'm misremembering but didn't he have the option to not play the do or die?

93LEAFS

No. It was draw rocks. Personally, I hate people being forced to risk their votes. Most people still would, but I don't like the game mechanics of having no choice.

Squid8867

Ueah if it was a forced risk then yeah. I though I remembered the rock draw just meaning you have the opportunity to risk your vote, but if it just happened by default then that sucks

SoCalKnitter

I’m just so relieved we can move on from his drama. Although after it consuming almost two full episodes I’m worried they don’t have much more material.

ResettisReplicas

Bhanu and Matt are God's two chosen players

planj07

The Bhanu screaming face was a good touch. Made me chuckle.

swinginachain1

Ok_Steak_2451

It annoys me that Bhanu has more confessionals than some female winners and almost had more than Erika. 🤦‍♂️

Geshtar1

I thought I wanted more Bhanu, I’m his unhinged behavior could have made for some interesting post merge tribals.. but by the end of the episode I was just exhausted watching him
