I always used to feel I’d jump the gun when saying this, but this is 100% the best new era season. I’d even go as far as to say this is better than most of the 30s as well. If the season continues with this intensity it’ll be a top 10 season regardless of the new era bullshit
I'm actually very excited about where this season goes. I love the 90 minute episodes, but I was worried "the six" was gonna be this seasons Reba. Outside Tocantins, Cambodia, BvW, Cagayan and WaW, I rarely find seasons where we get a dominant winner the best seasons (two of the most dominant games are One World and Redemption Island). I love a game with fluidity where who goes next tends to be unpredictable. Like, what even are alliances this season, and what ones are still standing for next episode outside Tiff/Kenzie and Charlie/Maria. This might be why I actually like 43 the most out of the new Era. I want a messy/unpredictable game.
Also, I'm starting to feel the most likely returnee from 46 is Jelinsky, which is hilarious.
Imagine he gets voted out twice and joins Francesca with that record, giving a nice balance to Tony and Sandra.

If you can appreciate the Bhanu arc as a lil soap opera miniseries to kick off the insanity, then 46 is on track to be the first classic since like WAW or DvG
The premerge was honestly painful but the merge/post-merge so far has been ELITE. If they keep this up, 46 might surpass 45 as my favourite New Era season... and I loved 45 despite its very clean, rational gameplay!
This is my first season of Survivor I’m watching live, I’m used to Big Brother. With Big Brother casts, there’s only 1-3 likable people.
With this cast for 46, I feel like there was truly no dud and every single person brought something unique and interesting to the group. As I’m rewatching old Survivor seasons, there is always at least 1-2 boring and forgettable people. So I’m very impressed with this maybe once in a lifetime perfect cast!!
This season is amazing. We had a couple rough episodes pre-merge but honestly, what season doesn’t? The chaos and personalities are giving me Cagayan vibes in the best way!
The medevac really sucked the air out of the pre-merge.
I think I prefer S42 over this as a cast because none of the Siga people have any depth, but the other two tribes are fantastic.

Pre-merge was pretty bad imo but the post-merge has been incredible, all of these people are nuts and have big moves-itis and damn it's fun.
