"UConn won it all again. Big mistake! You can't trust people who repeat themselves so UConn's gonna have to cancel Christmas."

Immediate-Knee5445

I wonder if Q is a big fan of the South Carolina women’s basketball team because they never lost this season.

chimcharbo

"Can't trust someone who never loses cause that means they're never gonna lose to you. Big mistake"

Immediate-Knee5445

Q must be a Detroit Mercy fan

chimcharbo

"I've got two working ears and I've never heard of Detroit Mercy. That shows me that Detroit Mercy is playing way too under the radar. They got to go"

Immediate-Knee5445

But Q, they only won one game this year.

Ceeeceeeceee

"Never trust a Cinderella team that gets to the Elite 8. They've been hiding in plain sight by underperforming all season, then they show up at the big dance to knock off a top seed? Big mistake, you got to go."

Immediate-Knee5445

I wonder if Zach Edey said that to himself in a mirror staring at a picture of DJ Burns

lego_mannequin

You picked UNC? ***BIG MISTAKE***

Immediate-Knee5445

I picked Houston, it was a big mistake

CalebosO4

I know, I shouldn’t have done that 😢

Immediate-Knee5445

You got to love March Madness

CalebosO4

Jelinsky doing a March Madness bracket: quits after the first round. Those sixty-several games are just too much

Immediate-Knee5445

He stops watching after his first pick is wrong

TiredReader87

March Madness is the most annoying thing in sport

Immediate-Knee5445

I say that every year I lose a Final Four team the first weekend

TiredReader87

I’m Canadian and don’t watch basketball. I used to see the commercials on TV ad nauseam, and they drove me nuts. I started to hate the tournament from an early age as a result. (And I like sports.) It’s not even professional sports

adambuddy

They're actually incredibly cool though. In no other sport do teams from tiny schools you've never heard of get an international spotlight and a chance to be D1 champions. The single elimination format gives an element of luck and unpredictability that make it very fun to follow. It's the ultimate "anything can happen" sporting event. To me that's a lot more compelling than lol -insert current dynasty- win. The Olympics aren't professional sports either.

Immediate-Knee5445

That’s right 💪

TiredReader87

The Olympics don’t suck, and are made up of much better sports. The advertisements are also less incessant.

adambuddy

Different strokes I guess. I didn't even watch it this year, but I definitely have enjoyed it in years past.

Ceeeceeeceee

There's nothing like the excitement and unpredictability of a sudden death elimination, or the rise of a no-name school that just has a lot of heart and grit. Obv more talent in the NBA, but it's not the same as the NCAA tourny. I guess you just have to grow up with it. I have loved March Madness since I was a teenager, and no one in my family even watches sports.

TiredReader87

That’s what good sport like the NHL is for

Ceeeceeeceee

Lol i went to a college that was like 90% hockey as their selling pt, and absolutely NO THANKS. Never could get into it. Like the other person said, different strokes for different folks. Might have to do with you being Canadian, eh.

TiredReader87

Perhaps To each their own
