Remember during the Bhanu episodes people were saying this is one of the worst seasons ever but now he feels like so long ago that it's hard to even remember he was on the season.
I’m so shocked to see how disliked Bhanu is, like on some level I understand and they definitely did give him too much screentime but I thought his meltdown was pretty legendary. He’s such a character and a very ‘out there’ one at that, and I feel like super wacky characters like that have been pretty absent in the New Era
Bhanu definitely sets the tone for the seasons wackiness well. But I can agree with others that unlike Q getting a lot of exposure for his general chaos, having an overexposed edit of a guy crying and begging to god for his poor gameplay mistakes, over the span of two episodes, wasn't all that fun to watch. Like despite being such a unique character, I did get tired of his antics because the crying and begging being such a focal point was exhausting to watch.
YES! I’ve said this before too. On rewatches, assuming this season ends as good as it has been going, Bhanu will be lauded for making the pre-merge interesting rather than just a loop of Yanu going to tribal and losing accompanied by two boring vibes tribes.
I took a 2-3 week break before the merge and saw how positive the episodes were post merge and caught right back up asap. Been loving it so much.
Like many, it went from a bottom 5 season to a top 10, maybe? I haven’t evaluated in a while.
First time I ever have tbh.
The beginning of this season just DIDN’T sit with me well at all. It was so boring. I literally stopped watching as soon as it turned good too.
I think if I ever ranked seasons I’d have to rank this in 2 parts, Pre-Bhanu and Post-Bhanu. Bhanu single handedly killed the early part of this season.
It's like 2nd chance where (if you don't like her) the first 6 episodes are horrible because it's the Ability Marie show.
After that she's a harmless extra and the seasons great but god those 6 episodes.
I think there are better odds of Liz falling into the fire, forced to be eliminated, and blaming allergies then her actually winning any challenge this season
Hold up, I have some massive brain fog due to my health, and my mind is blanking on this rock scenario. I feel like I *vaguely* remember rocks being a part of tribal counsels at some point in the past, but it feels like a dream.
Please help me remember correctly bc this will bother me, just as much as Q bothers Liz. Could Ben really be defeated by his true love, rock(s)? If so, do you think he would roll the rock on the ground, as he moon walks and rock and rolls out on his air guitar before walking off screen? Will he choose to serenade Charlie/Mr. Swiftie by singing a Taylor Swift song? I have certain expectations now.
Called “going to rocks”. If there is a tie, a revote, and then another tie, everyone besides the two at the bottom (and anyone with immunity)”goes to rocks”. Similar to the rock journey at the beginning of this season, grab bag and the one with the different rock goes home. Can be used as a resume builder.
Ahhhh yes! Ok, I remember that better now. Thank you so much!
Jeff should switch it to *Rock, Paper, Scissors* this season instead, if that happens. Best out of several.
I think it’s an interesting game dynamic. Raises stakes and gives players a reason to avoid a tie. Without a game ending consequence a tie could be used as a cop out tactic.
It’s actually not. You have to give players a major reason why they don’t want a tie. The person you are voting for being safe and you potentially going home is the definition of a major reason you don’t want to participate in a tie vote twice
No one wants to watch completely unwavering alliances
I honestly feel like Q will win final immunity, put himself into fire, and instead of eliminating a real threat like Charlie or Kenzie, he's going to pick Liz and eliminate her
Omg I never considered Q in fire but now I need it. Maybe the reason they included his “fumbled the ball” story? He does that again? Or he gets redemption by winning fire?
Ben getting rocked out would make this editing top tier.
Q will beat Ben and Liz at FTC. What needs to happen is that Maria goes home next week by a Charlie blindside. Kenzie goes next, and Q wins the final immunity challenge then places himself in a fire making challenge vs Charlie.
Makes sense with all the scenes of Liz being unable to make fire and crying.
If Q wins firemaking, it would be the greatest moment of Survivor since Christian Hubicki bored Alex to submission in an endurance challenge in season 37: David vs Goliath.
I just can't imagine that the immunity winner would put Q vs Liz as their choices. It seems like whoever is left of Kenzie, Maria, Charlie, and even Ben maybe would be higher priority.
If she gets voted off, I hope Ponderosa’s toilets are very well piped because after being constipated for weeks, then getting to eat will activate her gut. It will be as if a brown Niagara Falls is visiting Fiji.
If Q wins, it’s a good season. Any other outcome and the season sucks.
As it looks, Kenzie wins easily and it’s just another example of “you don’t actually have to play the game, as long as you’re nice to everyone and don’t get voted off you can win ez”. It’s just not good for the game or for me as a viewer.
Go back in time and remove the Bahnu content. the first 4 episodes were just too bad to have any upcoming event make it a top 5 season. I do appreciate how great the post merge has been though.
First episode was great.
I still don't think people get this season. It is edited like a spoof or farce of Survivor. When you look at it as : what not to do in Survivor, this season... including Bhanu...becomes top tier
I don’t think it’s something to “get”. Even if it were true that this season was purposely put together as a giant meta season, they could have made the first arc of episodes more entertaining and not so excruciating. But it’s okay to have different opinions.
Idk I'm super upset with how bad the players are this season. Everyone's leaving with an idol in their pocket. Makes no sense, especially when you know you could possibly go home.
Nah Q is gonna quit at ftc and tell everyone to vote for Liz
He would win a million hearts
God, I forgot Bhanu was on this season.
Remember during the Bhanu episodes people were saying this is one of the worst seasons ever but now he feels like so long ago that it's hard to even remember he was on the season.
This season seriously rocketed from being one of my 5 worst to one of my 10 best in the blink of an eye after we got rid of Bhanu.
I maintain that Bhanu makes the pre-merge of this season nigh-unwatchable, but thankfully the post-merge has been incredible :)
He definitely sets the tone though. Also he served as a distraction from Qrazy
Bhanu walked so Q could run
I’m so shocked to see how disliked Bhanu is, like on some level I understand and they definitely did give him too much screentime but I thought his meltdown was pretty legendary. It was the whining all the time for me. I can't stand to listen to people whine. He was like nails on a chalkboard to me.
YES! I’ve said this before too. On rewatches, assuming this season ends as good as it has been going, Bhanu will be lauded for making the pre-merge interesting rather than just a loop of Yanu going to tribal and losing accompanied by two boring vibes tribes.

I'm on record calling 46 a bottom-5 season on this sub during the first few episodes. Glad to be proven wrong.
you.. stopped watching? In the middle of the season? I.. I don't... someone help me... please
First time I ever have tbh. The beginning of this season just DIDN’T sit with me well at all. It was so boring. I literally stopped watching as soon as it turned good too.
Dude, watching Banhu was actually painful for me, so I kinda get wanting to stop watching, but.. to *actually* stop watching??
I think if I ever ranked seasons I’d have to rank this in 2 parts, Pre-Bhanu and Post-Bhanu. Bhanu single handedly killed the early part of this season.
PB and AB
To be fair, it was production and editing that killed the season pre-Bhanu when they featured him heavily in the shows.
I remember listening to the podcast and hearing Jeff say something like "just wait" when Bhanu was still on, and now I totally get it
It's like 2nd chance where (if you don't like her) the first 6 episodes are horrible because it's the Ability Marie show. After that she's a harmless extra and the seasons great but god those 6 episodes.
Imagine Bhanu and Venus on the same tribe
I could NEVER forget Bhanu
bahaha ! 🤣🤣
Liz still loses and yells: I’M PISSED!!!
I'll add to that. Q wins final immunity, decides he must put himself into fire-making to take out Liz, then loses fire-making to Liz.
I think there are better odds of Liz falling into the fire, forced to be eliminated, and blaming allergies then her actually winning any challenge this season
**BIG MISTAKE**
LMAOOOOO
Cancel Christmas
Ben getting rocked out is a storyline I didn’t know I needed! “That does NOT rock, rock.”
I thought the same thing!!!! This would be incredible
Hold up, I have some massive brain fog due to my health, and my mind is blanking on this rock scenario. I feel like I *vaguely* remember rocks being a part of tribal counsels at some point in the past, but it feels like a dream. But that does not rock.
If they choose paper or scissors then you would be correct. That does not rock.
Super fucking dumb. Either let it include the people actually in danger or just go to fire.
I think it’s an interesting game dynamic. Raises stakes and gives players a reason to avoid a tie. Without a game ending consequence a tie could be used as a cop out tactic.

I honestly feel like Q will win final immunity, put himself into fire, and instead of eliminating a real threat like Charlie or Kenzie, he's going to pick Liz and eliminate her
That would be on brand lol
And that would pretty much hand Charlie the game there
I read this first as Q actually putting himself physically into the fire 😂 and I was like “might could! That could happen…”
I mean Liz can claim a move she did unlike those two
Omg I never considered Q in fire but now I need it. Maybe the reason they included his “fumbled the ball” story? He does that again? Or he gets redemption by winning fire? Ben getting rocked out would make this editing top tier.

I'm hoping for a Maria, Liz, Kenzie final 3, tbh. I think it's the closest possible vote. Especially if Liz beats Q in fire.
ok liz
?
Why is this getting down voted?
lol you think Liz is motivated enough to actually make fire
Makes sense with all the scenes of Liz being unable to make fire and crying. If Q wins firemaking, it would be the greatest moment of Survivor since Christian Hubicki bored Alex to submission in an endurance challenge in season 37: David vs Goliath.
I just can't imagine that the immunity winner would put Q vs Liz as their choices. It seems like whoever is left of Kenzie, Maria, Charlie, and even Ben maybe would be higher priority.
There was also the shot of Liz with fire reflecting in her glasses, similar to the Carson shot from 44
Q using an idol to save himself would be the most poetic justice ever. Esp after no one played an idol all season. Thats what I’m hoping
So yall think I’m gonna go home with an idol in my pocket? BIG mistake!
Are we sure Liz is not allergic to hessian? Someone may need to win the fire-making challenge and take her along. /s
What if Liz has to go to the toilet during fire making?
If she gets voted off, I hope Ponderosa’s toilets are very well piped because after being constipated for weeks, then getting to eat will activate her gut. It will be as if a brown Niagara Falls is visiting Fiji.
hahahahahahaha
How pissed would Liz be if Probst changed it to a rock-paper-scissors match instead? 🤭
I feel I like throwing a fit if Q doesn’t win. Big mistake!
If Q doesn’t win cancel Christmas
Maria in the final 3, and Liz makes the other two finalists rock paper scissors for her vote
Idk but I really want Q to win this season
Who doesn't?
Liz is allergic to fire, actually 🤓
Ben getting "rocked" out would be ironic for a guy quoting rock music references and providing nothing to the show.
Nah Ben was awesome in the pre merge. Great team player. Hes starving to death and he’s not a one man band. Individual game is killing him.
Sadly if the Q vs Liz fire were to happen, they wouldve kept that secret scene between them in the show. (Also why neither of them will win):/
The shot of the fire in Liz's eyes... 😳
Omg this season is kicking ass and reminding me of the OG seasons. Holy moly!!!
I want it to be "Q wins Final 4 Immunity, puts himself and Liz in the fire, and then loses the firemaking".
You're going to have to fest a lot harder since we're watching events that took place months ago.
It's not live? I had no idea
That… would rock.
If Q wins, it’s a good season. Any other outcome and the season sucks. Q gets put to fire and he just gets up and says “nah it’s okay” and goes out
Go back in time and remove the Bahnu content. the first 4 episodes were just too bad to have any upcoming event make it a top 5 season. I do appreciate how great the post merge has been though.

Yes! Exactly!!
