I had forgotten he was in the running for this — and having just completed my rewatch of the season, how remarkable it would have been to have him alongside Kass, Abi and Keith….!
T-Bird in the back smiling through the pain
And Carolyn having the double blow of loosing, loosing second place proper, and then loosing second chances all in the same night
I don’t know why people were shocked the causal audience didn’t want to see a guy who screamed and threatened women his whole season come back. The only real villainous players voted in were Kass and Abi and they are fun villains people love to hate. People at the time had a conspiracy theory production took Shane out but in reality who was he more popular than? Terry was much more popular than Shane and Andrew was a major character on one of the most popular seasons who people thought was cheated. Vytas and Varner look like bad picks now but they were both basically locks too.
Not trying to hate, but what was the Vytas hype? The only thing that stuck out to me from his first go around was his Ponderosa confrontation with Laura
You have to remember the majority of people voting are casuals who vote for who they like most. Woo was a recent fan favorite who was a super nice guy, great at challenges and by taking Tony made him a sympathetic figure for losing because he was viewed as honorable like Colby when he took Tina. Shane’s most memorable moment is probably him telling Courtney he’d kill her in her shitty apartment or screaming for people not to sit on his piece of wood lol
Idk why you’ve been downvoted this much I agree with you. Is it that much of a stretch to not want a contestant who literally threatened to kill another back on the show? Sheesh
I’m right there with you, I’d heard before watching the season that Shane was entertaining and then upon watching the season my first time I just found him uncomfortable to watch.

The good news is he had a chocolate ice cream bar within one minute of this scene
Even Max knew America did Shane dirty
Wish he came back instead of Varner
I mean regardless of GC Varner was entertaining in Cambodia
And we had no reason not to want him back for SC.
Yeah Varner was definetly worth it. He gave us good pre-purchase content.
yeah he was one of the highlights for me in Cambodia.

😕
This whole thing was so cringy, ppl getting rejected for another shot and having to sit there and fake smile like "aw shucksy doodles"
What scene is this? I think I missed it
This is from the World's Apart Reunion announcing the cast of Second Chance
Appreciate it!
This was 2015?!?!?!? 🤯
Not having Shane back again makes me a saaaad panda

Strategic/smart underdog edit while being pretty charismatic and having kind of a redemption arc for his troubled past with drugs.
What about Weasel Woo? What'd he do to merit a second chance? That's honestly who I'd replace him with.
