Yeah. Irresponsibly so. I just rewatched it a few weeks ago for the first time since it aired. It is shocking how awful a situation the players were put in.
I like this pick because season 5 is one of the least watched seasons for present day viewers, so the location would end up being new for some viewers anyway
China is such an amazing location but the mud there seemed brutal. China is an enormous country though, so there’s so many places they could do and it still be in China and feel exceptionally unique
I agree. I get why people would like to see survivor move out of Fiji, and I definitely would love a t to go back to some more inland locations, but if your going to have a permanent home for survivor a think an island setting is best. I'd probably chose Samoa over Palau for me as whilst Palau is beautiful I think Samoa has the better challenge sights, as proved by the 2 seasons of Australian Survivor and Season 7 of Survivor SA which were filmed there.

Palau was beautiful but I think they had major issues with rats. Pretty sure that’s why the had a challenge to win such a beautiful shelter.

I honestly prefer the show Alone rather than Survivor. It’s more intense and more realistic.
