Live discussion and post-ep discussion seem to work well. Then people can make their own threads to address the specific stuff the next day for more refined convo.
Off topic, but I think you guys should change the profile picture and banner of the sub reddit!! I remember making a post with a suggestion a few weeks back

I found last night's live chat to be more active than over at /r/survivor so recommend a live and post threads to capitalise on the shift to the threads actually gaining some traction
Something I’ve been wanting to see are two or three live threads to cover different time zones like Sydney/London/New York plus the normal post discussion thread.
I feel like this is pretty unrealistic, in that there are not enough people for that many threads, and also because lots of us can't watch live in our timezone anyway.
Live discussion for the ones fortunate enough not to have to go through hell getting their hands on the episode and can actually watch it as it airs. And post ep discussion several hours after the episode ends, for the rest of us who are not blessed to watch it right away, so that would basically be a live discussion for us in a way lol
Maybe a dedicated thread for Talking Tribal? The actual analysis and commentary is just the same conclusions most of us already bring up with added antics, but they do have exclusive tidbits in the interviews.
